love2travel,, thanks for your kind heart. It just seems like everything that could possibly have gone wrong at the wrong time did. If we ended up with the winning lottery ticket on Sunday morning, then replacing things wouldn't be quite as impossible.

thanksgiving went down fairly nice and easy. i enjoyed the longish but not too long drive home, through small quaint quiet country towns hallsboro, cerro gorda, lake waccamaw, whiteville, chadburn and rustic rural countryside surroundings. taking me away from the sea. very woodsy and scenic, and i thought to myself' 'maybe this is about my speed, now. places like this.' the region looked relaxing, dreamy, with me caught up in daydreams as often transpires. i listened to coldplay's last cd all the way home, repeatedly, i must like it sherry, as usual, didn't come over for thanksgiving dinner with me, mama and our brother. she's one of my sisters. my other sister and her family came over later that afternoon, having had the holiday meal with her husband's relatives. since my 16 year old niece got her car, for being such a smart scholarly honors student and good religious girl, we're lucky to see her for five minutes. zip and she's outa there her friends are everything to her, and she absolutely must be with them virtually all the time, which is normal. my sister's two youngest girls, ages nearly five and ten, want to be right up her tail under her all the time, they've just got to be with mama quite a contrast with her moody teenager's independent stance. and she's loving it, except when she understandably needs some 'me' time. she gets to go to manhattan for a whirlwind tour next weekend! my two youngest nieces were jumping around madly, furiously, in a huge colorful rubber thingie when i arrived to take their pictures before leaving. they went in to watch t.v. a few minutes, then restlessly dashed back outside to 'turn summersaults and cartwheels,' they promised. they wanted to show me their prowess as gymnastics students. i thought 'o h no' because i don't see how anybody performs those feats without accidental harmful pratfalls, but it turned out they could only turn half cartwheels or psuedo summersaults, flopping around on the grass, which was funny and dear--they thought they'd really done them (laughs to point of tears.) their teen sister really could do them as a child and seemed miraculous when she performed, turning summersaults six or seven times in a row! their fanatically vivacious ball of furry fun, new little puppy,' ella', darted around like a frantic hyper mexican jumping bean and made off with one of the girls' colorful socks clamped in her jaws. the little girls fell all over themselves laughing and squealing at ella.

SUSY I'm happy to see you back again! Missed ya! I am beyond furious! After I yelled at the little cretins to get the h off of our property or I'd call the police, I shoulda known they'd commit an act of vandalisim sooner or later! All day, each time I took the dogs out, nothing was a miss. About an hour ago, when I took the dogs out, our beautiful art glass bird feeder was cut down from the tree & thrown on the ground. Luckily the glass wasn't cracked or broken. No Trespassing & Beware Of Dog Signs will be posted over the weekend. Grrrr!

I just can't answer him when he asks what's wrong. I just don't wanna go into it. Why make him feel bad over something that can't be done right now? He has no clue how depressed I've been.

i hope all you guys' work woes have abated. have improved. believe me i can relate thanks for the warm welcome, gypsy girl... i'm wondering how my 16 year old niece suddenly got a new trendy cell phone which 'does everything' with thousands of 'apps.' her mama had said she was tired of the teen tearing up cell phones and she'd have to pay herself, this time, to get hers fixed. and she has few ways of getting the much desired 'evil' green paper that buys stuff. next thing i hear, she's got this : i'm glad she does

Feeling so much better about things. Only wish they could've delivered the washer yesterday instead of having to wait til Wed. The laundry room looks like Mt. Everest!
