^ those cookies look really yummy, do you have a good recipe ?
Those are my basic chocolate cookies, cooked and cooled, with shredded coconut on top and then covered in tempered chocolate with a little more coconut on top. The cookies: 1 stick butter 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla Mix butter & sugar, add egg & vanilla. 1 cup flour 6 Tbs cocoa 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 chocolate bar, chopped up pinch of salt Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda, chocolate, salt. Gradually stir flour mix into butter mix. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. The tempered chocolate was 2 Dove dark chocolate bars. The brand doesn't matter, but dark chocolate always tempers better. More often than not, I roll the dough up in plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator before I cook it. That way, I can slice off as many cookies as I want and its easier to manipulate. I posted a picture of mint cookies a while back and that's exactly how I made those. I sliced off thin pieces and sandwiched the mint in between. When it cooks, it all melts together as a cookie with a mint center.

That was awesome. Just one second of Gene Kelly right after Rita Hayworth and Frank Sinatra and it's obvious what a difference training makes.

My 2 1/2 year old twin granddaughters. The older one informed me, when looking at a pic of The Beatles that they are "My Beatles" & the younger one smiling & dancing when i sang "We Love You Beatles" to them.

I just met a really nice guy who is a "shade tree mechanic" who swears he's honest and reasonable, doesn't overcharge or cheat people He's out in the country and has a hothouse, grows, sells and gives away organic veggies and will help you grow your own tomatoes and such. (smiles) and flowers. He's young and nice looking and talks a lot, looks like he'd be a good catch for somebody--I always tell guys "if you want to get lots of attention from the ladies, just talk a lot, 'cause a too many guys are way too taciturn and quiet and seem inarticulate and distant, which is a major turn off." I'm mainly interested in finding an honest effective auto mechanic who won't cheat you, however (LOL) but I sure wouldn't mind being friends with this fella I even heard him talk about God. He's a believer. What's not to like, at first glance anyway
