What makes you smile?

The cute little Shetland pony tied up outside the Liverpool museum wearing a raincoat while eating hay made me smile. I didn't take a picture because it was raining hard at the time. Not quite sure why it was there as there was nobody standing by it.

A New Amazing Crop Circle In The UK... http://www.coasttocoastam.com/article/intricate-crop-circle-in-the-uk-amazes-researchers/
I'll have to look out the window Friday morning before I land in London and see if I can spot any other crop circles!
Have heard that most of them appear in Wales, but that more of them are showing up in England. Glad that you posted. Was going to ask you if you were going to put on your Nehru jacket and levitate across Abbey Road Crossing? That would be WAY cool! HAVE A GREAT TIME, NANCY!!!
I wish my paisley Nehru outfit still fit! Sadly, it's long gone. Thanks! I'll have wi-if, so will keep everyone updated as I can. Won't be able to post pics until I get back as I'm taking my lighter iPad instead of my laptop and have no was to transfer photos from camera to iPad (no USB port) Maybe if I get ambitious I'll take a couple photos with my iPad, then I can share them right away! Dumb question, but if you use your cell phone in a foreign country, but only to take photos, is that okay? I mean I won't get some huge charge on my bill. Just put it in airplane mode?
Nancy, what version iPad do you have? There is an sd card reader you can buy to transfer pics if you have an iPad with the lightening connecter. I got one to use since I'm only taking my iPad as well this time around.
Brand new iPad Pro. The only connections I see are for power and earbuds. What am I missing?
That's the iPad I have as well. It's called Apple White Data Cable for iPhones & iPads with Lightning Connector and it plugs into the same spot your charger will to charge the iPad. Then you just put in your SD card and the pictures will transfer over. I ordered mine on Amazon.
I got one from the Apple Store at the mall today for $29. So happy you told me about this - thanks!
You're welcome! I hope it works out for you on the trip!
Guess what? My sd card is tiny and doesn't fit the reader! (Only a large card works and mine is only the size of a nickel!) Hope they will let me return it.
Oh, you must have a micro SD card then. Apple should let you return it when you are home.
Can't find the darn receipt, so not sure if they will!

It's funny, one of my sisters has sometimes posted here as me, and on my facebook page, she doesn't have a computer or accounts herself and uses mine. Sometimes get gobsmacked by various stuff she posts, but it's amusing. Never revealed this before.

Jeeze, tell her to create her own accounts! I would not be smiling!

Awwww. Would love to have seen that!

It's good to come home. I love2travel - that would make a good user name - but it's always nice to be back in my own bed.

Where were you? Someone took that user name already

When our youngest granddaughter hugs our Aussie & tells him he's her best friend!

I was in Tel Aviv last week. Now I have a pantry full of spices.

Great news! Hope you were able to get some mint too!
-
Unfortunately, customs frowns on bringing in fresh plants. I love fresh mint, but for some reason, I'm not into dried mint.
-
There must be seeds? Mint grows like a weed?!
-
Our oldest Yorkie grabbing our Aussie's big ball with the handle on it & dragging it around the family room & growling at anyone who tries to get it!

You'll never believe this, but I found the micro-adaptor that you put the micro SD card in and then it fits into the reader!! It was sitting on my desk all along! (I have a messy desk!)

I've heard that mint is easy to grow, but that hasn't been my experience. When I keep it indoors, it turns black and dies. When I keep it out on the balcony, the wind kills it. Maybe there's a reason we don't have any weeds around here.

I'm having that problem with a pot of basil that I bought!! On the other hand, I have one of those pots with a water well in the bottom, self watering, and the basil in that one is doing really well!

Basil is supposed to be easy, too, but the wind here would kill it in a few days.

How about a terrarium?
