It sounds like it's pretty good...Jesus of Nazareth is one of my favorite versions.

^ I am not hearing good things about this one! Sorry to learn that you did not care for this film, especially given how much you enjoy this genre. We are currently looking forward to seeing The Imitation Game with Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley.

Doesn't seem to be a plethora of really good new movies this year (although as usual there are right many I've not heard of yet). Can think of only four I know I want to see. "Wild" with Reese Witherspoon, "Cake" with Jennifer Aniston, "Big Eyes" starring Amy Adams, and possibly "Into the Woods." I read part of the excellent "Unbroken" but had to skip over the most violent parts. So that movie might be very rough viewing; don't see how it can top the book, though. What are other new films seem promising? "Sniper" will probably be way too violent. I need to research the new movies but right now it doesn't look too scintillating. I don't even know if I want to see the Golden Globes (Jan. 12) this year, or the Oscars due to the present movie scene. Would still like to see the SAG awards.

Saw "If I Stay" with Chloe Grace Moritz--very moving, well-made, tragic but with a hopeful ending. On DVD, saw "Tammy" (funny) and "Magic in the Moonlight" which is amusing, combines metaphysical with the philosophical and the comical. "The Fault in Our Stars" is devastating, so tragic Really upsetting.

Birdman, Ida, Foxcatcher, Still Alice, Force Majeur are a few more that sound like they'll be good.
-
Paddington Bear, Minions, Cinderella
-
Saw "Neighbors" with Seth Rogan and Zac Efron on DVD, wild and crazy--and "Sex Tape" with Cameron Diaz (who just married a Good Charlotte band member Benjy Madden) and Jason Segal, also pretty wild--some funny stuff in each. Kind of raunchy, though.

Going to see Paddington Bear next weekend, weather permitting
-
Can't wait to see Paddington! Just saw The Theory Of Everything and it was soooooo good!

I just saw: American Sniper in an IMAX theatre ... it's intense, not for the faint hearted ... It's worth the ticket price!
