It's been all over our news already. How they are evacuating the rigs in the gulf (and I hope they all get to safety) and the gas is already going up. And guess what? Chicago is still the highest!
So Cal too. They're going to force us all to buy Hybrids and Electrics eventually.

I paid $3.70 tonight, cost me $42 to fill it (wasn't on empty) Yea, gasoline might be cheaper in NJ but, not too many other things are ...

oh come on now...ours is 4.25. Th eday the hurricane news came out...gas jumped 20-40 cents at many gas stations. We need to drill more for our own or start fracking despite what sean & yoko have to say. :
haha...that beeped me out when I was saying how they drill for natural gas...it is called f-r-a-c-k-ing ...they wouldn't let me spell that? weird
-
Don't you want to say ..... look we paid for your fucked up pipe in our area and the rest of the country did not ..... and now you want us to kick in and pay for this with the rest of the country???? Where was our support when we needed it from everybody?!?!?!? Oh my gosh where did that come from?

I caught that and finally made the connection between the bleeped-out letters and Sean and Yoko. I couldn't figure out what they had to do with swearing.

It worked because I actually said fuck

We have a client & the ride to their jobsite one way is just under an hour. ONE WAY...gotta do it...in a van, so not great mileage. shame. But it is a BIG job so I will have to suffer through it.

I paid $3.919/gal on Aug. 29th (and that was with a 3 cent/gal discount through Kroger!) I hadn't gotten gas since July 23rd (I have a Honda CR-Z hybrid and only put on about 50 miles a week) I paid $3.329/gal back then!!

OMG! I am so mad at you! kidding of course...gosh that is cheap though! Ours is at about 4.25-4.30 but I can't imagine what it is downtown. It has to be over 4.50.

I don't have problems with oil price now...I sold my car and for a while I'll be pedestrian...I feel free...
-
If I lived in London or NYC I wouldn't need a car, but here I do!
-
I made more money on a day off than going into work today .... I used a paid day off and did not drive my car today .... I got paid and didn't use any gasoline *(I don't have a lot of those days to use .... so it only works once in awhile).

I've been trying to figure out how to add a fuel charge for my clients without them telling me where to go...and I don't mean for gas. We had a company that did deliveries. I knew it was too good to be true. They used to deliver anywhere in the chicago area for $13.95. My client has locations all over the place so I'd use these people quite frequently. Heck I'd have him going 40 miles north, then 50 miles south & so on. Then while he was delivering the small stuff I could handle bigger & better things. Well...sure enough...they went out of business & the people that took them over said now it would be $45.00 here & $65 to go there. Looks like I need to check out the post office.
