GAS (gasoline!)
-
Some freak probably looked cross-eyed at another freak over a sandwich and we all pay the price at the pump *(in the buyer and seller market of Gasoline and oil)
-
Regular $3.779
-
Down to $3.37 ...only two dollars to go
-
back up to $4.20

Yeah - I'm not sure where the dear Sursteven gets his numbers from because here in Massachusetts (which is one of the more reasonably fuel cost states in the NE - which I know because I travel to Long Island at least once a month), the prices took a very minor dip last week, only to creep right back up again:-(

Shell station $3.75 Secaucus, NJ (location of Fest for Beatles Fans) ... source identified ... local town - a couple of miles from a highway: Exxon (regular) $3.91
-
$3.37 for ethanol and $3.49 for regular unleaded here in the midwest. If you live in and around larger cities...there are probably higher tax rates included in your prices. edit...dot...dot...dot

And still cheaper than gas here in PA & you have to pump your own gas to boot! But as I dold my DH, I'm still a Jersey Girl & we never, ever pump gas!

Natural gas is selling for a $1.50 to $2.50 per gallon for the equivalent amount of energy. Some companies manufacture ng powered vehicles...there should be more.
-
Yes, I agree there should be more. The president should make all city vehicles, post off ice vehicles, school buses, etc conform to this.
-
$3.49 cash and $3.59 credit here in Northern NJ
-
Still hovering right around $4.00 here.

$ 9.00 for a gallon here!!! Stop complaining Americans!!!
I've heard that! OMG! Americans would go crazy with that price. But do you guys "waste" as much as we do? I bet you watch where you are going more...or is it not a big deal? Really...I don't understand it. I also think there should be extra taxes on people that use it recreationally... motor homes, boats, snowmobiles, etc.
tax the rich...feed the poor...the working class...does most the chores...

I work hard for my money (nod to Donna Summers) & I'm sick of these taxes! It's all too much ( beatles). (we could talk most of the day (& all of the night) in song titles. : Too early to make any sense...need more coffee now.

I wish some higher officials would take note of this type of fuel.

The sad and bummer thing about it all is .... not going anywhere on vacation ..... stay home stay-cations. Not going to the movie theater (I don't miss it too much ... but it is nice to go sometimes).... Not going out to eat that often ..... if I do ... it is above fast food .... moderate. Not buying as many groceries .... because they go up with the cost of gasoline. Putting off some car repairs and house repairs .... unless they "have" to be done now. Not going to entertainment things .... no concerts, plays, art things etc .... Many many things are affected ..... not just driving a car.
-
True, it makes the cost of everything go up. My trash collectors have a "fuel charge", our delivery guy just went under. He sold out to another company that more than quadrupled the price. If I tried to pass these sosts onto my client...they'd just go elsewhere for a quote.
-
We're continuing to coordinate errands, etc. & keep driving to a minimum, while gas is on the rise again. Some people just don't seem to care & will pay & complain instead of walking, carpooling or doing other things.

About $3.54 in the Boston area.
