These dark days resemble "Masque of the Red Death" times, that Edgar Allan Poe story the movie of the same name is based on...starring Paul's ex, red headed Jane Asher and Vincent Price. An avalanche of horrors. Fears the invisible menace will come for you and kill you or your loved ones. It's bad enough reading about strangers who succumbed, many in the health field who contracted the deadly virus while helping patients. Just today I tearfully read a firefighter's five month old baby died from the coronavirus. It's a relief to come across funny things to make you smile and laugh, such as the petition to make Dr. Anthony Fauci the next "Sexiest Man Alive"--I do appreciate the capacity of Americans for humor even in the direst situations. (Dr. Fauci is America's top expert on contagious viruses.) Whenever I need a laugh, I recall reading how anxious parents rushed to remove their kids from school that day Ivanka Trump visited the school, LOL. Her hubby Jared strikes me as a chilling Vampire figure who seems already embalmed. Prez Cheeto keeps placing the N.Y.C. slumlord in outragiously inappropriate important high positions in which his totally unqualified son in law is no help whatsoever-- more of a hindrence. Cheeto's recent suggestion to inject bleach in one's body to destroy the coronovirus really takes the cake, illustrating yet again he's out of his tree and out to lunch bigtime.

Hope everyone is doing well on the board, and hanging in. I'm feeling better after a couple of days of having a 1° increase in my temp. Normally that wouldn't faze me, however, I went to my doctor and got an antibiotic. Things are back to normal temperature wise. Wow that was scary. Just something minor. I had a vaccine for Tuberculosis years ago. They think that is giving some people immunity. A few countries who use the vaccine have done better than other countries who didnt.
Wishing you all good health, stay safe!!!

With this time away from work ...
I'm going to travel... no I can't do that for now...
I'm going to go to restaurants... Maybe carry out ...
Fix stuff around the house... if I have the parts already.
Fix stuff at a family member or friend's house ... not really suppose to.... and I don't have the parts... and cannot get them for now ...
And all the unnecessary things that I can buy come from a picture or description and many times in a cardboard box that shows up near my door ....
Strange times ...
The thread said post anything I want ....

There's been MANY new people at the park where I walk daily. OMG! New people without masks, letting their dogs poop everywhere & not cleaning up after it, letting kids go crazy with bikes & skateboards. I can't wait for them to go back to work. I think I will have to walk elsewhere because of the newbies.

On Sunday, the day after my birthday, my precious. loving companion suddenly passed away while curled up in my lap. My gold & white Yorkie, Spike was only 8 1/2 years old. He had refused to eat for a couple of days prior and we were going to take him to the vet. My 12 year old Yorkie, Jasmine was also by his side when he left us. She's been loooking for her best friend ever since then. We are keepin an especially close watch over her & hope she doesn't pass away of a broken ehart. They were the best of friends & inseperable. Since then, all I've done is grieve for Spike. There'll never be another like him.

I really needed to get out for a walk... I am doing a lot of walking like I used to ...
It is raining, so I put on a coat and hat ... and I walk. I felt good walking even though I thought i might be nuts ( so many people for some reason feel like they want to point out my mistakes and everything wrong with me, while never looking at themselves... tell me that I am stupid, that I am nuts, that I am the_fool ...) perhaps as the rain began to soak me, I thought well maybe it is true...
The walk was nice ... I had the place to myself (I mean what kinda nut would go out in this?!).
As I got toward the end of the walk, I saw two people with an umbrella who said something about being crazy... and I thought I was the only one who would go out for a walk in the rain like this.
* and not a summer rain, but a very cool to cold spring rain ..
Oh well, it felt good.

Night before last, I dreamed I was incarcerated, imprisoned, and as I restlessly paced in my cell, full of fear, I kept saying, "Don't you know who I AM, I'm Mary McCartney ! I'm Mary McCartney ! This is all a big mistake, a misunderstanding ! I'm Mary McCartney !" (laughs) Finally I realized I was not her and I wondered in a frantic manner what I had done to land in the pokey. Terrible guilt feelings must have surfaced in my psyche to dream such a thing. But then suddenly it all turned good, when Mama suddenly appeared and showed me some fancy gold jewelry she designed, and told me she'd been acting and performing dramatic monologues (she always was artsy in various mediums). She passed away in 2013 and I saw her die right in front of me. Then for a complete five years, at least, I dreamed about her every single night. Mama came to me so often, and we enjoyed various adventures. She sure appreciated me more in the afterlife. She must have missed me, to have reached out so frequently.

I kept waking up this morning for no reason ... i was not ready to get up... it affected my motivation to do anything ..
So, a few hours or more, later .. I put on some noise cancelling headphones turned on Sirius - The Beatle channel and listened to Breakfast With The Beatles. I closed my eyes listened ... a combination sleep, daydream, meditate... think, unthink, wander ... as I drifted along with the songs.
It is rainy, i am logged into work at home, nowhere to be for the time and I haven't done this for myself in a long long time ,,, it was needed ... I am still weather blahed, but feel better to have spent some time like that ...

Just listened to the Back In The World album. Holy Crap. Forgot how great the 2002 tour was. The absolute best version of Let 'Em In live ever. Very rocking and cool. And "She's Leaving Home" just sounds amazing. And even though I love the Golden Slumbers finale heard during the recent tours, the Sgt. Pepper ending in 2002 is sensational. What a great live album.

Still very sad and down hearted over the loss of my Yorkie, Spike last month. We've decided to look for a new puppy not that another dog could ever replace Spike but because we all loved him so much and because my other Yorkie, Jasmine still looks for him. I've already dealt with a scammer who was trying to rip people off and reported this person to the Federal Trade Commission. I've contacted shelters and rescues and got nowhere. Now I'm waiting to hear from yet another Yorkie rescue that is legitimate. In the past 2 days, I've sent 2 emails, left a voice mail message and will be sending a text emssage later on today. I'm noty giving up; I'll just continue with my search & hope for the best.

Nancy, please delete that quote, I should not have posted that. It could get me in trouble, please make it vanish as I did my original post. Thanks !
