It was a shorter week by one day because of The 4th of July Holiday *(Monday the 5th was a day off for the Holiday) ,
I knew this, but for some reason I thought yesterday was Wednesday, the bonus was today being Friday and it is the Weekend. It wasn't a quick thought either ... I treated the whole day as Wednesday and prepared myself for two more days .... I did get everything done today.

Some serious storms hit my area and all around. This caused many power outages including my house. It was out for the day into the night into the day. The crews working on these did a good job at getting many people's power restored in a good turnaround of time. (It always seems long when you wait).
it was so nice to come home to having the power restored and being able to casually click a switch and lights would come on .... to know things plugged in the wall worked as they should.
I went into work during that time frame - which had power and made the wait for my power to the house be restored less stressful - compared to if I sat at home. -

That was filmed at Stone Mountain Park where the Civil War Confederate Generals are carved on the side of the mountain! Been there many times and my daughter & family were just there last weekend!

I wrote to her again and she hasn’t answered. Am praying for a full recovery. It surprised me that she didn’t have terrible lung issues like someone else I know, who also got sick. Am hearing about some tough cases or sudden deaths. It hits in so many different ways.

Over 95% of hospitalizations and deaths are from those not vaccinated! Man, I plan to get my booster (3rd Pfizer shot) as soon as they open it up to 65+! Am getting my regular flu shot as I always do every year on Oct. 1st. I have already gotten my Pneumonia vaccine, all 3 Shingles vaccines (the old one in 2015 was just one shot) and a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria and Pertussis) - I'm not taking any chances!
