the link still works http://www.ottawacitizen.com/entertainment/Rumours+Paul+McCartney+concert+Ottawa+flying/8245007/story.html Looks like Paul McCartney headed to concert in Ottawa in early July By Lynn Saxberg, OTTAWA CITIZEN OTTAWA ? Is Paul McCartney coming to Ottawa? Indications are that for the first time, one of the Beatles will finally perform in Ottawa. The routing of McCartney?s Out There! tour finds the rock legend in the right part of the world at the right time. Although he?s in Europe until June 27, Sir Paul plays Boston?s Fenway Park on July 9 and Milwaukee on July 16. An early July concert in Ottawa is expected to be announced next week. the link works for me, but it goes to an Ottawa Citizen page that says "Sorry, this story is not available." It's like they pulled it....

here's a link to an article from the Ottawa Citizen http://www.ottawacitizen.com/entertainment/Rumours+Paul+McCartney+concert+Ottawa+flying/8245007/story.html
When I click on the link, it says the story is unavailable. Did it say when?? I might be able to go to Ottawa if Toronto doesn't work (and if this show is on a day I'm not working). *Fingers crossed!
The link to the Ottawa Citizen article, Looks like Paul McCartney headed to concert in Ottawa in early July is working and links to this article. The end quote bracket had been copied incompletely and therefore the open quote bracket joined itself to the link rendering the address unavailable. The quote brackets are now repaired making the link once again available. Had to edit the copy and paste format of the posted article to conform with Copyright Forum Guidelines, but again, the link is in working order.

Thanks for fixing it. I'm very anxious to find out any info on any possible shows nearby.

If the rumored Quebec City concert is true on July 23rd, I'd hope for something around Toronto/Ottawa/Montreal near there. Ottawa sounds fun, though! Hope for weekend dates, I'm running out of vacation time! Good thing credit cards are holding steady, I'll be spending quite a bit. You're welcome, Sir Paul!

The Beatles Examiner is reporting rumors for more Canadian dates. Not sure of the source. http://www.examiner.com/article/out-there-news-mccartney-rumored-for-ottawa-other-canada-new-york-city-shows?CID=examiner_alerts_article For Winnipeg, Regina, and Quebec. Finally some Canadian dates.

I'll do anything for just a little, tiny rumour for the UK. Just something to bring some hope back. Pleeeeeeeeeaaassseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Paul. The world is waiting. Or a rumour for a different part of the world would be great.

Barclays Center was rocking to Bob Seger last night and all I kept thinking was how amazing it's going to be to have every spot in the house from floor level to the nosebleeds full with folks on their feet singing and swaying along to Macca and the boys. It's going to be absolutely ace. Brooklyn is soooooo ready and waiting for ya, Paulie!!

we need more west coast shows come on paul still waiting

He does have a problem with cities near the Pacific Ocean. Maybe it's the ring of fire.

July 10th or 11th looks LOVELY to me! But, that looks awfully crowded for Paul...
-
Further (Phil Lesh & Bob Weir) are playing there on July 11th, so that is out. Of course, that was just the writer's speculation. But he'll obviously need two nights so I'd say the 10th is ruled out as well. Not to mention, Paul would be playing four nights straight and traveling from Boston to NYC to DC.

Holy crap - I'm in Fenway on the 9th, and DC on the 12th! Dare I still go for NY?
-
If they do announce NY tomorrow, would the presale be Friday?
-
Notice the article refers to Paul's "Up and Coming" tour, so the writer isn't much for details, esp . if they also didn't bother to notice that the Barclays already has a concert scheduled for July 11. : I think the June dates we heard originally are more likely.
-
That would be a relief. Three concerts in one week would be fun, but exhausting.
