Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours

Woah! Sorry, guys. There's some technical issue with the forum for me. Can a mod kindly delete the duplicate posts?

Correct if I'm wrong, but it sounds like he's saying we shouldn't take offense by what he says.... But I don't understand that when he's allowed to take offense by what we say. At the end of the day anyone's allowed to be offended by what someone says, regardless of where they're from. And making sweeping generalisations about anywhere... Argentina, USA or UK... isn't right. But, hey, let's get back to topic!
Pretty much nailed it on the head.

It's not flack. They're just observations people are making. I have nothing against anyone here and, to me, this is just a discussion and not an argument. I guess it's almost impossible to challenge someones post without it being confused as "giving someone flack." I'm just giving my empathy to places like Denmark and Australia. It'd just be nice to have those kind of fans satisfied too.
I wasn't talking about you, or any individual, really. I'm with you on Denmark and Australia getting first dibs on any upcoming Paul shows, by the way. I can see where 5th Beatle is coming from, though. Look back at pretty much every post he's made in the rumors threads, and just about every response to his posts is: "Not again! What the heck?" with the rolling eyes, etc. I'm not happy that SA may be getting Paul again, but it's not like 5th Beatle's posts are causing Paul to tour in SA. Those SA posters who seem to take pleasure in insulting the US and UK audiences, well, they deserve every rolling eye they get.
I understand this. It's all cool. I just think the Danes and Aussies have more of a right to see Paul (because let's face it, Paul's touring days are numbered!) than anyone else. So I can't really blame people for reacting when they always hear about only a small amount of countries getting the Macca rumours. Maybe they don't mean to direct it at 5th Beatle personally. Maybe just more of an expression of frustration that the rumours are always the same. Macca should be shared around a little more and more countries should be given the opportunity to see him before he decides to stop. It's okay, Wallie. You know I love ya!
I love you too, don't worry. I totally agree with you in your points, and agree. I just don't like the "innocent bystanders" who are just posting the rumors, like 5th Beatle is, getting it because we're upset Paul may yet again head back to South America. We should really be aiming our vitriol at the folks who are booking Paul's tours.

You don't understand Wallie, no one is insulting anyone, it's a cultural thing! http://www.tenfootsquare.com/top-ten-cultural-differences-about-argentina/ Political Correctness is Out the Window. Do not take anything you hear to heart. The Argentines are up front and say-it-like-it-is people. Plus, they are passionate. This sometimes makes for an awkward moment if comments are taken literally. For example thick or larger people are called Gordo/a, skinny people are called Flaco/a, ugly people are referred to as Feo/a, dark skinned people as Negro/a. Swearing is Not a No No. It is common to hear every type of person swear in different ways. From the sweet Grandma to the high society, mens club member, swearing is considered to be just another form of language and not vulgar. Of course, this is referring to the words of their language, vulgar words of other cultures are still considered as such. The Argentines are Passionate. The reason that the elderly, young and rich are fine with swearing is because passion lends itself to passionate words being said. The Argentine people are passionate about everything. Whether it is politics, their favorite football team or if it will snow soon, their opinion is a vibrant and energetic one. Their passion overflows into everything they do, which makes things such as seeing a music concert or football game that much more fun.
So basically copying and pasting from a website means that any insults I make to people can be explained away? I'd better start a website, then, so I can hurl some insults back at you, then!

Awww come on, I never insulted anyone here. Just found that web page funny and thought I'd share here to those that complain that South Americans have no political correctness or whatever.

I don't know--I've actually been pretty upset with some of the things you've posted on here, some aimed at me, actually. Of course, none of that has anything to do with Paul concert rumors, though, so:

I hit you because I love you and it hurts myself more than it hurts you, Wallie You shouldn't be so sensitive, after all, it's just an internet forum.

Excuse me? I'm not silly enough to post something more than once on purpose. It was a technical glitch and Triplets kindly removed the duplicates.

Can't say much but as you know Rusty has been working with Richie Sambora well Richie has announced tour dates and is about to announce more dates. Rusty is not part of the tour due to his so called McCartney commitments

Come on Frankie! See?? That's what I was referring to. Anyone in Argentina would have noticed I was making a joke. It's bloody obvious you didn't post 3 times on purpose and it's also bloody obvious no one should be banned for that. Gee, I better start using emoticons again.
