The_Fool:
There are twice as many people in Government as there is in Manufacturing. Which means the taxpayer has really has a lot of work to do to support this heavy load. 48 out of the 50 States have more people in Government than in Manufacturing in their own States.
Is it possible that manufacturing has been off shored in the past years?? Although manufacturing shoes, clothes etc in the USA were possible in the 19th century, I don't understand why such a mature economy as the US would do so in the 21st?? Can you help me out here??

Mature economy ... maybe, but perhaps also aged, that is over aged. I think some manufacturing still needs to exist in order to keep an edge and not loose out in a BIG way. I'm thinking of brilliant minds watching "amazing machines" at work and getting ideas for improvements ...

I'd agree with you about some manufacturing....perhaps it's the type that needs work I remember when "made in japan" was thought to be inferior

I think there was a mistake in the original results and Prosser is actually ahead.

Democrats follow the 'Robin Hood' steal from the rich, give to the poor theory - which some of the poor legitimately need help while others are just lazy people who don't want to work...Dems don't differentiate

Here's what the Politicians from BOTH Parties have done: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bill-quigley/robin-hood-in-reverse-in-_b_846004.html http://www.huffingtonpost.com/linda-keenan/how-the-richest-1-percent_b_845953.html A few pertinent quotes:
"...Between 1948 and 1979, the richest 10 percent of families in the US claimed 33 percent of average income growth. Between 2000 and 2007, the richest 10 percent claimed a full 100 percent of average income growth in the U.S..."
"...The top 5 percent U.S. households claim 63 percent of the entire country's wealth. The bottom 80 percent hold just 13%..."
"...Last year the top 25 hedge fund managers pocketed (a much better word) a total of $22 billion. It would take over 440,000 people each earning $50,000 a year to match that amount..."
"...there are now more people living in poverty in the US than at any time in the last 50 years. Foreclosure filings were nearly 4 million in 2010, up 23 percent since 2008..."
"...Virtually all U.S. senators, and most...[House] representatives...are members of the top 1 percent....are kept in office by money from the top 1 percent, and know that if they serve the top 1 percent well they will be rewarded by the top 1 percent when they leave office. By and large, the key executive-branch policymakers on trade and economic policy also come from the top 1 percent..."
So, who is it doing the stealing? And, who is it they're stealing from?

Sigh!! : Watch" Inside Job" Those top 1% robbed the workers retirement benefits all over the world and spent money on things like Hookers and lots of decedent things. The jobs they cost the world and the hardships they put on people all over the world.. People who worked there whole lives lost everything so some wall street fat cat could have a few more yachts and or Paul McCartney playing at his birthday party. watch the movie and you'll be mad at both parties.

Be afraid...be very afraid http://health.usnews.com/health-news/family-health/brain-and-behavior/articles/2011/04/08/liberals-conservatives-may-have-different-brain-structures You do know why our two sides can't make headway with discussion don't you : It's pretty apparent even without scientific studies and as the right wingers say who needs science anyway : Be afraid be very afraid It's what causes the 'I got mine I don't care what happens to anyone else' symptom. They can't process anything which requires complexity . Their brains are an atavistic throw back. Be afraid be very afraid
