John Lennon supported working people and peace. Republicans are always favoring rich people and war. Does that ring any bells in your own little radical delusion?

Well, "big corporations" provide beaucoup jobs, don't they? But, why don't they pay an enormous amount of taxes commensurate with their massive annual earnings as a whole? These big corporations? Why do they get such astounding tax breaks? Also they're polluting and messing up the environment in many ways, right? Why don't they try methods to abate that atrocity? And become more "green"? Obama didn't cause all this.

Not so you would notice, unless it is jobs created in India, China and Mexico. General Electric, (one of the biggest Corporations,) has eliminated 20% of their American workforce. They earned 14.2 Billion in profits for 2010 and not only paid ZERO Taxes, they also claimed a 3.2 Billion Tax Credit. In fact, Obama was apparantly so impressed by GE's CEO Jeffrey Immelt's elimination of all these American jobs, he appointed him to the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Make no mistake: Obama is, (first, last and in the middle,) a Politician, and ... "A Politician is a Politician is a Politician, and a Türd by any other name still smells like Shït."

For those who don't understand the definition of 'ditto head'. It's a republican who does not benefit from any of the republican policies so they vote against their interests, they just follow along and carry water for the ones who do such as the wealthy and corporations. The republican policies ONLY benefit the rich and corporations.

Earth to Mustangsally, Earth to MustangSally ... Not all voters and/or Republicans listen to Rush L. - I don't ... I might occasionally hear a few minutes ... about my same toleration rate for some other lib reporters (I just don't enjoy either). Regardless, the President has been taking huge contributions from a known Corporate (tax avoiding) giant ... he has not returned any of their contributions. If he is not a hippocrate he would return all their 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011 contributions .... But again, that would only be a very, very small start Back to Ditto: Etymology+Origin of ditto (adjective) 1625, Tuscan dial. ditto "(in) the said (month or year)," from It. detto, pp. of dire "to say," from L. dicere . Originally used in It. to avoid repetition of month names in a series of dates; generalized meaning of "same as above" first recorded in Eng. 1678. earth.to.mustangsally ...

Apparently you did not read the very short article - you above comments do not reflect comprehension of what was written ... Earth to SurSteven (i've ommitted the phrase that typically follows)

Earth to Andy no one mentioned Rush L. ...defensive aren't you : A ditto head is a republican who votes against his/her own interests. You have never given a response as to why you vote republican...now is as good a time as any How do republican policies help your life : : Are you naive? don't you know that almost all corporations try to avoid taxes and most do so legally because of the tax breaks they have been given by the republicans. Obama (in the link I provided above) well here it is again http://www.whitehouse.gov/photos-and-video/video/2011/06/29/president-obama-news-conference is asking that the wealthy and the corporations pay their fair share rather than have the most vulnerable in our society finance the corporations.

Apparently you don't get "IT" ... You appear to be lost in re-defined terms and/or phrases ... The word: Ditto is ancient (as I illustrated above). Attaching the word "head" has no intellectual significance to any political party, except in your own world. But, alas I tried to enter that world - perhaps in error, perhaps not. Mr. "Rush" seems to have used the "term" (per a quick internet search of mine) and/or the re-defined term seems to mean avid followers or listeners to Mr. Rush (again I say, I am not). I'm only sorry that I tried to enter your world ... besides no one can ever communicate with a person who is angry or insulting (note: your constant use of very angry/evil emotions with anyone who posts a different view from yours) Hope you have a happier day ...

I think it's possible to have both Demo-dittos and Repubo-dittos. In fact, everybody who votes for either Party believing it will improve their lot, is one kind of Ditto or the other. Unless, that is, they happen to be one of the Richest 400. They are the only ones being served.

Andy Shofur is naive if he thinks a GOP prez wouldn't do the very same as Obama in accepting campaign contributions from that big corporation. Why don't the big corporations pay any taxes? That's the craziest most absurd thing I've ever heard (almost), they're the very wealthiest in society and therefore should be paying the most taxes. How are they helping America if they don't pay taxes and give most of their jobs to overseas workers? Why did the GOP not want the big corporations to help America? Please answer, I know I'm ignorant and rather unworldly but I really want to know !! Please

Your world seems to avoid answering the question and diverting attention elsewhere If your insulted by that statement well then why don't you try just answering the question : : Why are you a republican : : How does being a republican help your life : : Here you have a chance to support your cause...why don't you try : : I don't think you know why you are a republican or you would have answered a long time ago

I noticed that too, Sally. He doesn't answer that. Do you think Obama has a good chance to be re-elected, Sally? My sister said he will, because black people will ensure it by all voting for him and getting out the vote for him, but is that too simplistic an assumption? Please don't say it just 'cause you want it to be so, please say if objectively speaking you think he has a viable valid chance to win a second term. thank you

You're not ignorant Suzy so don't say that. The big corporations pay lobbyists to 'convince' congresspeople and senators to vote their interests and to make sure that they do they give huge amounts of money to their campaigns. The republicans carry the water for the corporations and vote the way they are told. The republicans NEVER support the common person because the common person has nothing to give them.

Hi Suzy I think he has a great chance to be reelected, but we should never take anything for granted and should all work to get him elected. I've been asking Andy to say why he is a republican for a few years and he has never been able to answer something wrong with that, I think. I am always happy to list why I am proud to be a democrat.

Thanks, Sally I shouldn't have barged in, but looked like he wasn't gonna answer, anyway. You point out that no reply has been the "reply" for several years now.

yep, and now he's saying he's not a republican well I don't blame him what a bunch of losers who would want to be associated with them Probably as the months go by there willl be fewer and fewer 'republicans' on this site. They'll all be in the closet btw, Andy did say at one point in answer to my question...Why are you a republican? he said, I don't need to tell you but I know when I vote I guess he's become an independent since then
