Obama is committed to reducing the deficit. A well-documented truth.
Hot air, verbal committment These are actual numbers (2011 is still being worked out - it's up over 2010, way up over!) Gross Federal Debt ---------- Debt Held by Public FY 2010 $13.5 trillion ----- $8.2 trillion FY 2009 $11.9 trillion ----- $6.8 trillion FY 2008 $10.0 trillion ----- $5.3 trillion http://www.usgovernmentdebt.us/
Staggering. So, is lowering taxes on millionaires the solution?

That's up to you & the sitting President - more sitting, spending, & not cost cutting ... not being an example himself ... he lectures, points fingers elsewhere: exempting himself & fellow money burning Democrats

How is setting up a Debt Commission Panel not being an example? How is proposing legislation that is fully paid for not being an example? How is being willing to compromise on Medicare not cost-cutting?

I believe there have always been commisions on the debt - they have't helped much. And this President has spent more in 3 years than any President in past history in 4 years or more! Example - a King was not elected. A president was elected - yet the current one is living like a king more than any other President in U.S. history off tax dollars & Fed. Debt. Cut out those lux. vacations. Cut out all those golf trips (he has already in 3 years exceeded all of Bush's golfings in 8 years)!!! Reduce the Whitehouse staff below Bush (way lower). Cut out most of the Czars ... How many Czars does he have on the payroll -- 100, 200 : :

Yes, maybe - I'll amend my response above ...
-
This is why I am convinced that so-called "conservatives" are in desperate need of a Critical Thinking course. They are the worst debaters.

Response (above) was edited ... mind you I have not personally attacked you or your character ... but I believe you by your tone have attacked me and my character.

White House threw secret 'Alice in Wonderland' bash during recession By MICHAEL GARTLAND and CYNTHIA R. FAGEN January 8, 2012 It was the tea party the Obamas just couldn?t resist. A White House ?Alice in Wonderland? costume ball ? put on by Johnny Depp and Hollywood director Tim Burton ? proved to be a Mad-as-a-Hatter idea that was never made public for fear of a political backlash during hard economic times, according to a new tell-all. ... It was so over the top that ?Star Wars? creator George Lucas sent the original Chewbacca to mingle with invited guests. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/in_blunderland_hKpNQkHfvpEWe4F51kI4dP

Best way to being down deficit : Let Bush tax cuts for the rich return to Clinton level and roll down Bush Wars. That's all that needs to be done we don't need to reduce any safety net programs. Obama's already working on winding down the Bush Wars' and the Democrats have tried repeatingly to tax the rich more fairly...but alas the republicans carry water for the rich. So we need to get them out of power completely to get our economy right again. And with the economy and unemployment rebounding slowing but surely that will also increase revenue. Best employment figures in 3 years Haha , Obama's doing a great job they are having trouble finding something to criticize so they criticize his well earned vacation to his homestate

First -- my apologies for my nasty tone. I just take slams against the President more personally than most at this site. Sorry. With that said: I'm not sure how I feel about the spooky soiree. While I don't blame them for keeping the event low-pro, it's over-the-top. As long as your and my money didn't fund it, so what? As long as a government leader supports policy that allows ALL persons to have an opportunity at having a piece of the pie, they are perfectly entitled to their own indulgences. Remember that rumor about Paul having a solid-gold toilet in his Glastonbury dressing room in '04?...and we KNOW what a generous guy he is.

No, I criticised him & his admin. - what I said were my thoughts, not someone else's. He is still living like a king at a time when he should not be so lavish, and I'm sure there are a whole lot of people that agree on both sides of the isle

A response with an air of irony Critical thinking is not about how well you can debate, it's about considering outcomes before taking action or putting a foot in thy mouth...for example, President Obama did not apply one ounce of critical thinking when he pulled troops from Iraq without realizing Iraq would crumble apart almost immediately...critical thinking would say, forget whether you blame Bush for sending troops there...think about the here and now and what will happen if we withdraw troops right now... Critical thinking was not applied with the bank bailouts - not all banks would have collapsed. If these bailouts did not happen, it would've affected the amount of credit handed out and put us in a deeper recession...but guess what ? That scenario took place regardless...so obviously not all of the pieces were thought out. Obamination care?!?! Not thought out (i.e. critical thinking component is missing)...increased the cost of healthcare for everyone who already has insurance and people who were less fortunate, but already was getting discounted or 'free' care, continues to get discounted or 'free' care...but under the 'Obama' banner...so basically with all this money being wasted elsewhere, they turn around and stick the bill to the private sector in this case...LOL Btw, after last night, I believe Ron Paul is one of you..you can have him...I think he wants terrorists to kill us all almost as much as your man does

maybe President Obama should pitch a tent on White House grounds : : As I said your thoughts are grasping at straws trying to find something to criticize. Obama is doing an excellent job under very difficult circumstances Looking forward to his second term

Re: 'improved unemployment rates'...did you know that after a similar slight improvement in 2010, researched showed that the number of people without a job actually increased...the decrease in unemployment claims could be traced to expiring unemployment benefits, to which individuals are no longer considered a claim...thus a drop in the unemployment numbers...Care to take a guess whether that's still the case after this more recent, almost insignificant 'improvement' as well?

"he (Ron Paul) wants terrorists to kill us all as much as (Obama) does"--oh, so Obama wants terrorists to kill all Americans?? A new dumb low for you, man Honestly. How low can you go, not much lower than that. Or more stupid than that. Have topped yourself
