The ..2012.... Political thread

Two big news items -- both could be trouble for Willard Mitt Romney: 1. Santorum actually won the Iowa caucus 2. Rick Perry will announce that he's dropping out of the race, which may ensure victory for Gingrich in South Carolina. Well, Mitt...ya' might wanna keep that champagne in the cellar a little longer. (insert bad-news trombone wah-wah here) "Wahmp-waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh)"
Point# 1 - I hope you don't really believe that little Iowa footnote will slow down Santorum's demise in the least. He basically killed his last remaining hopes last night 100 times over. While I thought Romney was ok, but not quite the winner last night (Newt was), it was several wonder to what several brilliant moments when Romney took the 'I know you're new - but I'm going to cut you a break and explain my point once again' approach with Santorum. And speaking of Newt, I loved how he started the night by tearing that pouty face lib a 'new one' for starting with such an inappropriate question...GOOD FOR NEWT!! And as far as Obama and the Pipeline, all he did was kiss away a chance to create thousands of jobs...and then to say 'Unemployment benefits will create new jobs' showed me that he's basically just an eff'n walking brain fart. It actually doesn't make sense to me eitiher- so don't ask me what it means...LOL I'm still torn between Newt and Mitt - I think Mitt would ultimately do a better job...but since the last elections showed me that cheap but slick lip service can get you elected, I could want Newt for that reason (he'd debate Obama under the table)...since I still think he would do a competent job nonetheless...he's chomping at the bit for a good old fashion debate against the teleprompter king...LOL

Oh yeah, how many states in our country, Mr Barrack Obama?

Gee, if you were in South Carolina, and you added a 'I guess that don't put that on your teleprompter, huh?' you could start your very own Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Given your political views/humor, that seems about your speed.

Happy News!! Obama has rejected the XL pipeline and the threats of the oil billionaires Here he is talking about it
Well, I see he's found his co****s again. There just ain't no compromising with Republican politicians -- it's their way or the highway. To paraphrase an Elvis lyric: Obama does all the givin' -- and they do all the livin'.
What I like is he's getting ahead of their backlash...the republicans are drowning in oil money. They'll screw the Earth just to satisfy their oil billionaire supporters
No, you see oil isn't bad for the earth. It's good for everything! Just take a whiff of your car's exhaust some time. A couple puffs of that, and I'm ready to run a marathon! Don't believe those fancy pants liberals and their 'scientific data' about climate change. Climate change is a myth...no, it's happening, it's just not man made...no, er, I'm confused. But oil is good, and the socialist Barack "57 States"Obama hates America so much that he's trying to deprive us of it. Oh, and I don't mean '57' to be ironically funny, I actually think it provides insight into the man's intelligence. I saw a clip on YouTube, and like I learned from Elizabeth Hasselbeck, context doesn't matter. If it's on the internet, it's to be taken completely at face value. I guess you smelly, hippy lefties forgot that cognitive thought and knowledge have a well-known liberal bias. Take a shower and go read the New York Times, Jane Fonda!

Typical lib - ignore the real issues and attack the one facetious one...LOL...Have a good day. Your sarcastic 'oil is good' rant sounds pretty in print, but is about as clueless as one can get in reality. Obama and a few hippies from the 60's are about the only people who are against the pipeline project...guess everyone else is just wrong cause you say so
-
Btw, why don't you explain Obama's 'unemployment benefits will create jobs'? Is it because we'll soon have so many unemployed people in this country, the unemployment office will have to hire more people to keep up with the claims?

I know, avoiding the topics and all...just like your Messiah...No wonder he's got the lowest approval ratings in many years....unless of course you only go by that crap rag, the Daily KOS - you know, the paper who blamed Palin for the Gabby Giffords shooting and then....shucks...quickly went and removed the same kind of target - aimed at republicans - and has since denied it was ever there...LOL...and of course you followed suit just like the little sheep your are by, to this very day, deny - despite all the evidence - the Daily KOS could 'stoop' to such measures...LOL...and you save your breath...people already saw your comments and can go back and search for your idiotic comments...they're right here in this very thread Answer this, what is more important - the color of Newt Gingrich's underwear or unemployment? This question probably causes such a quagmire in that little head of yours because you know what you want to say, but realize people are watching...LOL

Which is that libs fight hard for the 'shallow' topics or can't think their way through a bonifide life changing topic....I understand you can't help yourself ops: You can't answer the question as to why Obama said unemployment benefits will be good for the job market...LOL...but then again, you and him are two peas from the same pod (and you'll be close to alone in finding that to be a compliment)

All things consided ... Savage compares Obama to disgraced Italian captain President 'is in a lifeboat beneath a sinking ship' Jan.18, 2012 The shamed Italian cruise captain who abandoned his capsized ship while passengers were still aboard is a metaphor for the current U.S. administration, says talk-radio host top-rated talk-radio host Michael Savage. ?Obama is in a lifeboat beneath a sinking ship, and he won?t get back on the bridge, because he?s afraid he?ll go down with the ship ...". http://www.wnd.com/2012/01/savage-compares-obama-to-disgraced-italian-captain/ while some want to focus on Romney's tax returns & wealth ... should we not also want to focus on the POTUS wealth & investments

I don't worry about Barrack Obama being unemployed ..... he will likely be able to do so many things .... from highly paid speeches .... writing books ... to having his own talk show or a seat on The View or magazine .... if he is like Bill Clinton .... it will only be a matter of time before he has 100 million or more dollars to play around with ...... and he will be able to get as far away from Washington D.C. as he so desires ... and vacation in between speeches and book tours

The man just wants everybody earning above the poverty line to pay the same tax-rate. Geez. And can somebody tell me how tax breaks for the rich benefited the U.S.?

No one taking over the US after the past dozen or so years was going to have an easy task of being president. It's not Obama's fault the economy is in the toilet. That's been being forecast LONG before Obama was elected.

Wondered why Obama didn't approve all the potential pipeline jobs last week? How did he fare on his State of the Union address tonight? Mitt R. released his tax records for last year. He paid three million bucks in taxes but he made either 12 or 21 million last year, can't recall but it was a very large amount

Shame on Mitt for making money. And Obama didn't approve the pipeline thing because it would conflict with his plan to create jobs with unemployment benefits (which still none of you libs have explain Obama's rationale with that ...LOL)
