After reading Mustang's last post, I caught an update and saw that all of 40% was reporting thus far...LOL Mitt probably will win that state, but we'll see how the top three pans out...Santorum is way down...I don't think anyone with such a far right stance would ever have a chance in that state.

Looks like Obama hit the campaign trailer with a decidedly Liberal message (and in Liberal fashion...LOL)

"media in the hands of Zionist Jews"--Rupert Murdoch isn't Jewish. I don't think the Hearsts were (are they?). It's true the Facebook starter guy is Jewish. Freaks me out to see anti-Jewish sentiments expressed here. Can't help but remind me of anti-semetics talk. I don't think of all banks and all media being "in the hands of Zionist Jews," myself. Seems like a fallacy to me. At the least it's a generalization, exaggeration, hyperbole. Jews in general are very smart people, so I'm never surprised to hear they've done well. I'm sure there are a lot of dumb Jews too. Too many for everything to be in their power or for any one race to be considered the smartest one, it shouldn't be thought of in those terms.

And to follow up my previous post - here is how a Democratic Presidential nominee is selected ('YOU'RE IN!!!'):
-
Rich, Andy? Why are Santorum and Gingrich BOTH saying at their South Carolina rallies that this election is the most important since 1860? Really? 1860? Do you suspect a bit of "dogwhistle politics" within that type of rhetoric? I do.

A typical lib trying to decide on breakfast - using the same technique as they do to conjure up repetitive, non imaginative 'political rhetoric' they post here

Well looks like it's going to be Mittens...yeah! I'm happy with Obama. Health care is already making a difference and much of it has not even been implemented. It will lead to public option because already many private ins. co. are having difficulty with the part of law which says they have to use at least 80% of what is paid for policy on direct health care. And states can go public health if they choose. Obama wanted Warren but she would not be confirmed. Cordrey will be great. And Warren will make a fantastic senator. unfortunately, A lot of what the banks did was legal and the Dems have new regulations on banks which the repubs are trying to weaken. Paul is no friend to regulations. Maybe warren Buffett needs to jump into the Dem seat against Obama. I have a very realistic view of politics because I've had a lot of experience in politics and trying to get things done and I also have studied political history so understand what are realistic expectations So I know how difficult it is and how long it takes. J know how important it is to look at the big picture and never lose focus.' Yeah! we can't wait to get our hands on Mittens
I agree it going to be Mit and that what really bugs me. They know he not going to win and they don't want him to win. Again no choice. 350 millions people and we still have this two party system. Huntsman would of been a better choice. He went to a flat taxes in Utah If Paul or Huntsman went up against Obama it would of been a choice .. Mit not choice.

I'll say this about Willard (his actual first name -- despite his lie at the debate): He will say anything to any audience at anytime. The examples are staggering. To call him a flip-flopper is not only an understatement; it's inaccurate. A flip-flop can be a genuine change of heart. However, Romney's numerous -- and I do mean NUMEROUS -- contradictions demonstrate that he is just a plain ol' liar. If real conservatives want to count him out, two of the other contenders need to pull out now. They are only ensuring the nom for Willard.

I am not sticking up for him -- it sounds to me that he is Not trying to lie - as much as he is trying to say what needs to be said to please the most people in the room. (In that town, city .... State ....etc ....) Say one thing in one place and something else in another state. * (This is just a guess .... but I can see it politically) .... in Today's world with the all the possible coverage and quick communication .... it can also be caught sooner.

O contraire! Off the top of my head: When he ran in 2007, I remember the report of him -- as governor of Mass. -- enthusiastically championing an AIDS/sex education program for schools ... ... and blatantly criticizing another politician for endorsing the same program. That's just one of many, many, many, many, many self-contradicting statements. This man could give keynote speeches to the NAACP and the KKK in the same day.

No argument from me ..... I probably gave him more of an excuse or benefit of the doubt - than he deserves ... it likely may be -- say anything and everything - in every direction to get the job - then deny anything and everything - in every direction to get the job .....

It is perfectly OK for someone to change his mind, and your earlier post definitely makes the case for that.

The nerve of the Obama Administration - In an election year ... The Department of Homeland Security is Monitoring news sites in addition to social media. Might the "news" be something not liked by the current administration? http://ca.news.yahoo.com/homeland-security-watches-twitter-social-media-183721483.html

It sure can get ugly in here... GOP debate will be held in Myrtle Beach, S.C. --what a "thrill." Not surprised as S.C. can be very conservative (it's got more Libs than you'd think, though).

I assumed that's been going on for years.

A good debate is always welcome and I think in the end it will be interesting to take a vote and see who voted for who. I think we still have the die hard Obama people and the Obama let us down people and the I hate Obama people and the anyone but Obama people. I think the Independent party is going to really make the decision this year. Kind of interesting that Trump is even suggesting he would run under the Independent party. Why? No one would vote for him. So that must be the Rep tactic. They know there this whole movement out there but their mistaking thinking that the OWS is backing Obama and I think there sick of both parties. I think a good Independent would have a good chance and I not sure either party can feel safe that it won't be their people going over the wall. Sopa passed today. Obama is now as bad as Bush.
