good job lonely driver!
Thanx! Although I´m not really pleased with the second goal, if it stayed 0-1, I would have been on top in the pool I´m playing with about 200 other people. O well, there´s a still long long way to go. Looking forward to tomorrow, three very interesting matches!!

Daniel.:
Do you have a dark horse team that one shouldn't write off? (Team that could shock) Poland & Ivory Coast
Shows how much I know : Can I change the first one to Ecuador?

Well, you can still be right with the Ivory Coast! I must say I'm content with the results. I wouldn't write off Germany as yet due to their defense. They're a tournament squad, after all. Poland disappointed, and their coach is scaaarrry. They did have some good chances in the last minutes, though. Ecuador looked really good. So here are my predictions for Saturday's games: England - Paraguay 3-1 I'm gonna watch this one at the central public viewing place in the heart of Berlin, wearing my England shirt. Trinidad/Tobago - Sweden 2-2 Argentina - Ivory Coast 4-1

That was the most enjoyable opening-game I`ve ever seen (6 goals!) ... Frings` shot; WOW But now it`s also pretty obvious to me why germany won`t have a realistic chance winning the tournament. Their defenders have proven yet again that they aren`t good enough !
I'll have to agree with you there. What's the use of a brilliant offense when the defense don't do their job? They have to attack the opposing offenders, no matter how much they may be off-side (which they were not in Costa Rica's first goal - the second one may be debatable, but I'm not too sure there either!). Besides, it's off-side only when the referee decides on off-side... Then again...

Crouch is in the England's lineup, and from what I've heard the Prince and his boys are in the stadium as well.
-
I wish I knew spanish more than I do cuz Univision as Jose Luis Chilavert as a pundit. Will likely cheer on England, though if Paraguay gain a result I won't be too bothered. Match has kicked off.
