well if you see it that way, but I think they are already starting to do that
Just out of curiosity, which players would you include in Barcelona's ideal lineup if every player was healthy and available. Keep in mind that Rijkaard always plays 4-3-3. He never goes 4-4-2. In extreme circumstances (2nd leg away to Zaragoza in last season's Copa del Rey, having lost the home leg 1-0) he went with a 3-4-3. But 4-3-3 is his standard and what I'm asking from you.

I would put Valdez Zambrotta Thuram or Milito Puyol Abidal Xavi Iniesta Marquez or Edmilson (would not put deco on the midfield, the team needs a real defensive midflielder, neither xavi or iniesta play like that) Messi Dos Santos Eto'o

Milito or Thuram? Milito is the obvious choice. He's been the best of the summer signings. (Milito, Toure, Henry, Abidal) Edmilson?! You have to be joking! He's only on the squad because he was injured during the summer and no one wanted to chance him. He's only just fully recovered in January. Deco is left out because he's been crap this season. Even Gudjohnsen should be slotted ahead of him. Although he had a decent game last weekend, Giovani has been a huge disappointment this season. Near goal he's very selffish and too predictable because he has no right foot. Bojan is clearly the better of the two youths, hence his international call up for Spain this week. Ideal lineup is more like this: ------------------ Valdes Zambrotta -- Puyol -- Milito -- Sylvinho ------------------ Toure ------------- Iniesta -- Xavi --------- Messi -- Eto'o -- Henry Abidal started very well but for now he's been out of form. Sylvinho has been the better option. Marquez over Toure would work as well. Bojan over Henry is a possibility but I favor Henry's experience.

I, even as a Brazilian dont like Sylvinho's football, I actualy forgot about Toure, and he really is a better choice, I dont think Henry and Eto together wold work very well, specialy when you play with a 4-3-3, you need a player like Ronaldinho or Geovani to play on the left, I prefer Bojan over Henry... Just my opinion, respect yours.. Just to get things clear, I've been having fun discussing Football in this board

I, even as a Brazilian dont like Sylvinho's football,
That should tell you how out of form Abidal has been if Sylvinho is being selected ahead of him. I actually think Sylvinho has been doing well with Barcelona. Haven't really watched him with Brazil. On international dates I usually follow Spain and Argentina. What do you make of Brazil's chances in the Olympics? Ronaldinho is apparently not in Dunga's plans. Kaka, Robinho and Juan are the three overaged players. No too familiar with Juan (plays for Roma). They look to have a strong team, but Argentina have a good history with youth squads.

Sylvinho has not been playig for Brazil, Brazilian left backs are: Richarlyson (São Paulo), Kléber(Santos), Gilberto (Tottenham) Well really doesn't matter much, I dont really like Abidal... : In my opinion Brazil has the best Olympique squad with --------------Renan-------- ---------Breno---Juan------ Rafinha-----------------Marcelo(Real Mardrid) ------Hernanes---Lucas (Liverpool) ----Kaka----------------Anderson ------Pato-----------Robinho I dont think Ronaldinho should be in Dunga's plans, he is not playing well and besides even when he was playing better Dunga already had problems with him, Juan in my opinion is one of the best defenders in the world specialy when he plays for Brazil. Robinho plays much better in Brazil then with Real, has been the most important player for Brazil... And Kaka, well I think he is overrated... He could maybe pick a goalkeeper, Julio Cesar is the best in my opinion even thought Renan plays's for my team...

I liked the Abidal signing and he started off well. Hopefully he'll regain his form. Brazil definately looks like the strongest team, but for whatever reason they always fail in the Olympics. Ah, so you're a fan of Internacional. No wonder why you don't like Barcelona/Ronaldinho.

Specialy Ronaldinho! He played for Grêmio, but even the grêmio fans hate him, gremio didnt get the money when he left to PSG... Pressure is very big in that olympic team, and Brazilian young players sometimes "hide" when they have important games... The team with Robinho/ Diego/ Alex didnt even go to the olypics... But Dunga is a hard man, let's see if he can keep the team focused on winning the title...

poor spurs..they play man yooouuu twice in one week!
haha ronaldo is really in great shape! The next one will be even easier...
Qual Ronaldo?
Meu time eh o Palmeiras, Parmera, ahaha. Vejo que vc eh de Floripa. Ja morei ai, morava no bairro de Capoeiras. tinha muito Sao Paulino ai, na minha epoca. Muito Flamenguista tambem. Qual seu time? Ah isso eh, o futebol europeu eh bem mais dinamico. O nosso eh aquela coisa neh. O Argentino tambem, mesma coisa, aquela cadencia...rsrs

Didn't United need a late Tevez strike to steal a point? Far from easy. They should've lost that one. I'm starting to wonder if I should take your posts seriously now. Further proof that Barcelona are being forced to field weakened sides in league games... three cantera players have been called up for the Sevilla game. Such are the injury problems. 18-man squad v Sevilla Valdés - Pinto Espasandín - Oleguer - Thuram - Milito - Márquez - Abidal Edmilson - Xavi - Iniesta - Víctor Sánchez - Víctor Vázquez Messi - Ronaldinho - Henry - Giovani - Gudjohnsen I'll be happy with a point.

I haven't watched an NFL game from start to finish for many years now. I don't even watch the Super Bowl, but I still video record it. Don't know why. I have every Super Bowl on video since the Bears won it (January 1986). I'm a dedicated soccer... er, I mean football watcher now. So you won't be watching in June to see if Felipão can win what he lost to Greece four years ago? I may bring back the predictions game for that tournament. We'll see. I play fantasy football nowadays. Along with some stranger. The stranger is kicking my butt.
