Before 21stPaul comes on here... YES the referee gave Barcelona that game. I thought the ball hit Juanfran on the shoulder. But it's three points gained, and with Real Madrid losing to Betis, it's now a five point gap with 14 matches to play.
InTheSkyWithDiamonds:
It's Madrid's for definently, I can't see Barcelona winning it. I think barcelona should concentrate on Copa del Rey and on the champions league, to win a league you need a consistant team, Real Madrid has that, Barcelona does not... :
Only five points behind with 14 games to play. Man Utd are five points behind Arsenal with 12 matches to play. I guess Barca are in better shape than United.

But it's by no means over, as you've suggested. If you think it is, then you must be prepared to annoint Arsenal as Premier League champions as well since your Red Devils are also five points the leaders, and they have fewer matches to play than Barcelona has in their race for the title. Neither league has been decided and only a fool would suggest such a thing with three months of football still to play. 1 out of 3.

"Guesses"? That's the easy way out, because once you discover you're wrong you can start "second guessing" yourself.

"ain't over till it's over" etc. anything can happen, for instance, Real Madrid won last Spanish league against all odds. Yes, referee did favouring Barça, and they use to favour Real Madrid too. The big teams have always favours from referee in Spanish league, except when they are in kind of a war with the Spanish Federation. And in the Champions League the referees favour the hosting team, you know. Raul did his classic goal, "his goal" really, but anyway 2-1. And there's a match to win in the Bernabeu Stadium. And Barça did kind of a show sometimes against Celtic. A goal of Messi came from a similar dribbling than the famous one that Puskas did in the 50's in England vs Hongary in Wembley, I think. We're sometimes amazed by some present players but what they do has been done before... Puskas was not so fast, but he shoot a lot better.

And two funny facts. Cassano, ex-Real Madrid player, that only scored one goal here (at with the hand :lol, has happily retured to Italy playing well. In a TV interview he said "In Spain life is too good to play football" And naturally, the italian interview asked: "What do you mean with Spain's life is too good for playing football" Cassano: "I mean, you sleep only a little" INT: "And what do you mean when you say "You sleep only a little"?" Cassano: I mean there's too many beautiful women. I guess Cassano talks about the unusually active Spanish nightlife... Ronaldinho is a regular of some Barcelona disco I used to go, for instance. I'll probably get back to that disco this weekend... And the strangest thing ever.... Spain's coach, Luis Aragones has just done a press conference with Raul! to kind of explain why Raul is not selected for him for playing in the team, and he just not said a thing really. Very strange.

I think Raul should be in the time, maybe not into the 1st eleven but, I couldnt ever understand why he isnt even called...

Touché. Barca are five points behind and title chase is over. But because you're a United fan, you say nothing even though they, too, are five points behind in the race for the title (with fewer games to play).

Yeah, I read about that. Although the meeting, as I understand it, was asked for by Raul. He obviously wants to be in the squad for EURO 2008. But Aragones said that Raul's performances will decide whether or not he'll be included in the team. Spain have done well without Raul, to be honest. Aragones has been playing a 4-5-1 with Villa (or Torres) the lone striker. Spain plays Italy in their next amistoso, right?

Bah. I saw that in MARCA. It was simply their latest attempt to talk about past Madridista players, especially those from the era of black and white film. Di Stefano was honored by UEFA, so let's talk about Puskas too. : Messi's goal was the more impressive because he was pushed down as he shot at goal. Puskas wasn't.

If you happen to see 'Dinho dancing the night away, tell him to go back to the training ground because Barcelona needs more performances like the one he had against Celtic. By far his best performance this season.

Of course he wasnt put down, he was far from the goal, in a corner... Puskas was the best shooter ever, even being fat like when he played in Real Madrid.

Yes, Spain is doing good. Qualified. And winning France in a friendly and now playing against Italy. It isn't casuality. Aragones would want to play with the two World Cup finalists and greatest favourites for the Euro Cup, beating them, and showing "we don't need Raul"... Spain has not won in an official match a world champion team since 1984. 1-0 to Germany in France's Eurocopa. That's the last time we have passed any quarterfinal in World or Euro Cup.

No-one has the balls to tell him so, it seems... They accept it. Or maybe not, he could have left the discos past week. I don't think I'll meet him, two too big egos to be in the same place... that's probably why I want to come back to that disco now.

Arsenal or Real Madrid? After all, if they don't drop points, they can't be caught no matter how well Barcelona and Man Utd are playing.
