I prefer Germany on the final for 2 reasons: 1-Italy is Italy, the worst team Spain can always face, they can play defensive better than anyone. 2-If we face Italy on the finals we'll remember a LOT the chance we have to eliminating them on the Crotia match.......

My bets are on Gemany winning Euro 2012. To be honest I knew England?s campaign was fecked when everyone started pinning their hopes on a man that looks like he was spawned in the fiery bowels of Mordor wearing what appears to be an ill fitting toupee.

So, in a few hours, Germany vs. Netherlands. Could be an awesome game. Or a game with many red cards. The mood in both countries is again very hateful, like in the 80s and 90s, a bit like Poland vs. Russia yesterday. Well, as a German, nobody likes you and the other way around. It's difficult for a German to keep fingers crossed for another country, f.i. in the game France-Enland, we don't like either of them. I doubt that one other country has as many archrivals as Germany. We don't like England, France, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Argentina and so on. From the big football-nations, maybe only Brazil and Spain are okay.
wrong. my country 'scotland' has always had a soft spot for the germans...especially considering all the pain you have inflicted on the english team down the years
I was talking about the big football-nations. Nice to know that at least someone likes us. And Germany won against the Netherlands. Great game, could be better from Germany in the second half, but still good. The 1:2 was unnecessary, Germany should've made the 3:0 instead. But anyway, two games, two wins, today against Denmark.
Just as well Germany are not to bad at football because you're pish at fighting
Come over here and I show you how good I am at fighting.
My bomber is in the hanger being refurbished, poor excuse i know but its true
Who cares about bombers? I want a good old fist fight like real men!
you said on another thread you punch and run away, i hope you're a good runner

So the semifinal lineup basically looks like this... Bayern Munich v Juventus Barcelona v Real Madrid But seriously, I think everyone is jumping the gun a bit on Spain. I want them to win it all, but I'm very worried about Portugal. They have the speed to counter effectively, they will be very motivated for revenge on their World Cup exit and they will have that two extra day rest period. Three days rest should be enough for Spain to freshen up tired legs but it would not surprise me one bit to see Portugal advance. Hope that's not the case, though. Germany should have no problems with Italy, who have been a pleasant surprise with their play in this tournament. But Germany will also have that extra two day rest period and Italy are coming off playing 120 minutes.

Sorry, but I'm not into match fixing. Spain did the right thing by going out and trying to beat Croatia. You play the game to win, you play for what's right for the good of the game ("Fair Play"), leave no doubts and make sure everyone's conscience is clear. If Spain and Italy happen to meet up in the final and Italy win, we should remember the reasons why Spain couldn't get the job done rather than remember about not creating conspiracies.

Portugal need Ronaldo to be playing at a 100% to have any chance where as Spain have class all over the park, like the last World Cup, Spain haven't broke sweat in this tournament.

Italy being the team I support when Scotland don't make it, I was happy. I'm afraid England have to wake up and smell the coffee that they never have and never will be a world force in Football. They have made 3 semi finals in history, 2 of those being within tournaments in England. They are nowhere near top 10 and aren't even on a par with teams like Uruguay, Mexico, Ghana, Ivory Coast. I'm sorry but there just not good enough. Pirlo, tho. Best midfielder in the world

Guillem Balague, La Liga insider for Sky Sports, listed this as his England team for the 2014 World Cup (assuming they qualify )... ............................ Hart ........................... Walker ...... Smalling ....... Cahill ...... Cole ................ Wilshire ...... Jones ................ Sterling .. Rooney .. Oxlade-Chamberlain ........................ Wellbeck ........................ What do you all think? Although I've heard their names I honestly don't know much about most of those players.

I'm not into match fixing either. I mean the remembrance of the past possibilty... the temptation may run in people's heads "We could eliminate Italy at will and now they are our rivals on the finals" The win would have an extra value, though, like "and then we win them" The loss could have the extra "we're silly" factor... It's very tricky. Not to mention the last 2 matches against Italy have been complicated draws and the last matches against Germany 2 wins.

I don't think Ronaldo even plays the ball, maybe one or twice, just like in the World Cup match, or just like Ribery against Spain.

Pirlo is one of the greats but not so great as Xavi and my neighbour (Iniesta)

I like Wilshire a lot, I don't know much some of the rest.

as you're saying your predictions I will say mine, in spite you'll get the clues for the team I'm going to line up for the Fantasy For the bets websites, Spain is as much of a fav against Portugal as Germany is against Italy. I'm not with this. I think Italy is almost as good as Germany. Italy have problems to score, not great forwards and Germany has problems in defense... I see Germany as slight favourite over Italy, but only because of the 2 days of rest. I think Spain will have one of those typical 1-0 matches. It won't be easy, the 2 days thing..., but I don't think Portugal has big chances.

Pirlo is better than Xavi and Iniesta is more of a forward player anyway.

well, if he has one of his bad days he should be substitued... In the match against Denmark for instance. He was playing in a way he was ruining all the team's attacks. Fortunately for Portugal, in the final counterattack someone decided not the pass ball to him but to other player that was in worse position (anyway), that crossed and Varela scored. When things go wrong he carries the world upon his shoulders (as Mac would say). He wants to fix everything himself and then makes thing worse. There was some clasico against Barça in which he ruined every ball he received... But he's on you know he's on and he will ask for the ball time after time, no matter what. Maybe he will move to midfielders position to receive the ball but if Portugal doesn't create chances he's gonna go "that way", u know... The opposite of Messi, Messi doesn't get mad if he misses but he hides a bit when they need him, he's not a leader. But never a problem. I mean... they should never drop him for using him a substitute, Cause a CR7 that starts playing at the 2nd half will want to do over do everything... But they should change him for another if he's not on. (But I guess they don't do that cause it will have a bad effect on CR7, or maybe they just don't dare...)

Pirlo and Xavi are similar at passing, maybe Pirlo is a little better at long passes. Xavi is better at dribbling. Xavi is better at finishing but Pirlo a little better in long shots and Xavi a bit better in defending.
