It's a pleasure to meet one of the photographers!! I just started attending Fab Faux concerts last year. I'm not sure if I mentioned the same earlier - I saw them first on You Tube Then Easton, PA - Revolver (Glen filled in that night too & sang Oh! Darling) New Brunswick, NJ - Abbey Rd Atlantic City - their favorites, 1 long set and NYC - The White Album No we haven't met - but I'm glad you made it to the Macca Fan Board! I'm a fan of theirs & any band that plays Beatles songs really well! This weekend I'll be going the Fest For Beatles Fans in Secaucus, NJ - see you there??

Nice to see you've been able to see the band a few times. They're back in Easton and AC this summer. I don't think we're going to the Beatle Fest but maybe I'll see you at one of the upcoming Faux shows....I'm at every gig.

I can live without seeing that, not interested in the DC5, at all. Was looking at all those old fan mags from the 60's I bought online, the DC5 tried to rival the Fabs and claimed they were better than them, which is absolute rubbish. Maybe those assertions were just media hype though. How could the DC5 seriously think that, ever.

Back in those days - I took a lot of the hype seriously. It wasn't just the DC5 it was also the Stones and vitually every band not as famous as the Beatles. Often times it was not the band members that started silly comparisons of themselves to the Beatles - it was their promoters, marketers, record companies, etc. trying to stir up the sales of their clients material.

The Fab Faux..........WOW! They are AMAZING! Just saw them last night at the Keswick! What a stellar performance!!! EXTRAORDINARY TALENT!!! Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey rocked the house!!! Strawberry Fields Forever was breathtaking! Because was stunning! There were a few show stoppers......Jimmy brought out the sitar for Within You Without You...What a moment! Frank playing the different harmonicas for Fool On The Hill...Just beautiful! The Fab Faux are coming back to the Keswick on Saturday, October 25, 2008 to perform The White Album in its entirety! If you haven't seen them, check them out! You will not be disappointed!

The "fog" is beginning to lift. My Fab Faux "hangover" has become a Fab Faux afterglow! As TLP has already said, the Fab Faux put on an amazing show Saturday night. They are astounding musicians and I think, an extremely funny group of guys. They have an engaging quality about them, and can make that extra time in between songs feel like part of the experience. My eyes were glued to the stage the entire time and a smile stuck on my face. There were two drum kits on stage Saturday night. I speculated about that, thinking "possible guest drummer?" Rich Pagano, the drummer, explained that The Beatles had remarkedly different sounds during their career. In the beginning, the drums had more of a high end sound, and later Ringo played around with his drums to get a different sound (taking off the front of the bass drum and putting towels in it to muffle the high end) Anyway, that's why they had two drum kits on stage, so Rich could go back and forth, depending what era the song was from. The night was wonderful. My son Brian and I went to dinner with TLP and had a great time! I feel like we've been friends our entire lives!! Dinner was GREAT, and THANK YOU TLP for knowing the drill about getting tickets for the next show! Thank you so much (((((HUGEfan))))). You made one of my dreams possible Saturday night and I can't thank you enough! I will see you in Kentucky soon. Here are questions I wanted to ask the band but couldn't, due to stars in my eyes. 1-Did they sing the harmonies while singing back-up vocals during their "Glad All Over" performance at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony? 2-Where does Will Lee get his pants? I would love to get a pair for my son.(Will wears really cool 1960's style pants.) 3-I want to learn how to sing and play drums at the same time, AND I'd like Rich to teach me.
