thanks for that Boggle, had to leave early on Sat. health issues but managed to stay till the end on sunday. so for one I am happy you went mad. my last show for personal reasons and he sounded good in soundcheck and had a lot of banter with his fans. Sunday was excellent I enjoyed, the songlist is the songlist, get over it. Met up with a lot of lovely and some quietly totally mad ones, met new nice people. Had a grand old time. ta again Boggle , hope you mum enjoyed the show.

Hi there, I went to the Out There! show last Sunday at the 02 which was amazing however I can't find an accurate set list for all the songs. One of the songs I really liked but can't remember the title. I remember it had images of working class people( mostly men) from the past in the background. Any ideas? Many thanks ...

Does anybody knows what songs were played at both soundchecks?

I think this band and all of Paul's bands are great musicians and performers. But the truth is, it is Paul people are paying top dollar to see, and he delivers. Is it cool that his band gets into it? Yes. But it really isn't necessary. To comment that Brian and Rusty look bored is a pretty ridiculous thing to single out. Elton John's back up band isn't any more "into it." That isn't their job. Their job is to provide back up to Elton jamming his hits. Same with Paul's band.
"To comment that Brian and Rusty look bored is a pretty ridiculous thing to single out. " Mr. McCartney is the focus but there is nothing wrong about making observation about the band. Is it ok to mention whether the band are good musicians since everyone is paying to see Mr. McCartney? The band is part of the show and while I would not have mentioned something like that in a review I don't think it is ridiculous to mention. BTW - people never minded it when Abe gets mentioned for how animated he is during shows. That is ok and cool but heaven forbid it is ridiculous when it comes to criticism.

So, you agree with the reviewer? I have seen video, Rusty and Brian are no less animated than they are in any other show. I have yet to leave a McCartney show and think, "Damn, that would have been a better show if Rusty was just more animated!" It is ridiculous. It's a cheap shot, as if the reviewer could think of nothing else to criticize about the show. If you have read any of my posts, I clearly have no problem criticizing. But that is just a non issue. Of course the reviewer can write, but then they can also be criticized for writing it.

Here is the band in 2005:
Here is the band in London this week: Rusty and Brian are as animated as they were ten years ago. How much more into it are Rusty and Brian supposed to be?? They are grooving! They aren't supposed to be more into it than Paul and they are really in sync with him, IMO. -

Well, those reviews are absolute dross. I know it's all a matter of opinion and all, but were the reviewers even at the concerts? Because they have totally missed the point. Probably don't attend concerts unless they are reviewing them. Absolute dross!

Hello everybody. I'm not good at English because I'm a native Korean. Pls understand if I write in broken English. I saw Stella McCartney in person at a department store in Seoul South Korea on 20th May 2015. It's her first visit to my country. I departed Korea for London next morning. And I could see her father at the O2 on Saturday night and Sunday night. I attended MACCA's concert 3 times this month. I was at the second row on the ground on 2nd May 2015 in Seoul Korea. My seat was very close to the stage. But I got two cheap floor seats at the London gigs (65 Pounds). The sound of Paul's voice and all the instruments was very clear, loud, and excellent, though I was a bit far from Paul. The high sound quality was the most emotional thing for me. It is different from Out There Tour at Seoul stadium or Japanese dome that I've ever experienced. I love Paul's solo career very much as well as the Beatles music. My favorite records are all from the seventies, McCartney 2, Tug of War, Flowers in the Dirt, Flaming Pie, Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, and New (I also like his many side project CDs). I was a bit embarrassed when I had seen some people were going out to buy drinks especially Paul's new song time (ex. Hope for the Future) on 23rd Saturday night. I think Sir Paul is still writing very good songs. Doesn't he? I had thought that the 23rd gig would be better than next night's before I went. But I have happy memories of the second night at the O2 now, even though Dave Grohl and all Paul's Family weren't there. Since I could hear '65 I'm looking through you, '66 Got to get you into my life, and '71 Ram on for the first time in live performances. Of course these songs were not the world premiere. But I've heard those live on YOUTUBE only until then (Ram On was a song at the sound check in Seoul). People turned on a light while Paul was singing Let It Be. Paul said to the audience, "Thank you for the light event." My thoughts flashed back to the concert on 2nd May in Seoul. The event may be held in many countries. There is still a light that shines on me, Shine on until tomorrow, Let it be : I felt like Sir Paul McCartney, this aged 72 man was more powerful than aged 22 young man on the 23rd and 24th nights.

You got that right! I thought you expressed yourself beautifully. What a great experience!
