Silly Love Songs? It has one of the tastiest pieces of playing by Paul. I know he played in live in 1976, but it's been a while! Could it be that because it was essentially a tribute Linda (and obviously his critics) that he does not want to play it live anymore? I was told that shows like X-Factor, American Idol, Britain's Got Talent that they need songs to clear before they can be performed and I came across this!

      Thoughts!

VERY different arrangement. He sounds like Los Lonely Boys. I like Paul's version better & I agree...he should play it live.

This has been discussed repeatedly on here. Some folks -- me included -- think Linda's vocals were too integral a part of that song for Paul to want to touch it. Too bad, as I'd love to hear him do it (preferably with real horns as in '76).

As I mentioned a few months ago, I was told by one of Paul's band members that Silly Love Songs has in fact been rehearsed. He also mentioned that sometimes it can take a couple of years for a song to be performed in front of an audience. I believe it's only a matter of time until we get to hear it, as he has consistently been adding Wings tracks to his setlists in the past few years. Maybe in 2016, if he decides to end the Out There tour and begin a new one?

He DID play it live, in 1976! I saw him do it and it was brilliant! It will not happen again.

From Back to the egg album I would like to hear live: "So Glad to see you here" and "Winter rose/Love awake". From London Town: "London Town" - "Cafe on the left bank" and "With a little luck".

And "Rockestra Theme" can be a great opening too!

No way! When did you speak to the band members? This is so exciting! Of course there's a chance that he never plays it, but I'm a huge fan of Wings and this song is probably my most played of all time! )

That was last november. I hope we will get to hear it live soon. I'm still really happy about hearing Temporary Secretary, so anything is possible now.
