Yes, 1 min wait right now but I'm glad I'm over that part, its nerve racking. Now all I want to know is where are the experts? The fans that know how many seats to each section & how the seats will be numbered? Left to right? Right to left? No body knows?

This seating chart shows the front to back numbers and side-to-side at least on the field level seats. Hope it helps you. http://www.ticketmaster.com/paul-mccartney-san-diego-california-09-28-2014/event/0A004CE80AFD26E2?artistid=735610&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1

That's certainly the most price levels I've seen for his concerts. 7 levels from $23.00 to $253.50. That's just General Seating!

Thanks but no, this chart is at every ticket vendor I could find but none show the seat numbers. Thru out the entertainment world they are being evasive just in case, trying to head off complaints I think.

I just emailed the Padres ticket office (you can also phone them) for some seat info--maybe you'll have some luck there. Contact information is on the Padres website.

Dodgers Stadium is close enough, so I'm going to both concerts 7 weeks apart. So exciting!

Hi 'Out There' peeps. Does anybody know which would be better seating at Petco Park, San Diego.... Section A2 - Row 3 or Section A5 - Row 25. Having a bit of a dilemma and the seat charts do not show actual seat numbers from left to right. A friend has a set of tickets for both and not sure which one to go for! Thanks if anyone can let me know from their personal experience it would be great. Cheers!

Penny Lane 13--what are the seat numbers? For both A-2 and A-5, the closer to seat 1 the better (A-2 is numbered right to left; A-5, left to right.)

Kathy - How did you find this out? Is there a chart up somewhere or is it your experience? Most venues for Paul have seemed to me to start with seat on the aisle in first section on the right in front of Brian & run to the left, towards Rusty. So my next question is - in your answer, is that L to R facing the stage or as if your on stage looking out? Do you know about Section A4? I Do wish we had a chart.

nanorama: I used the chart on the ticketmaster site. It's kind of hard to see, but there is a little "1" in an upper corner of each section (floor only.) A4's seat 1 is on the right (facing the stage.)

Hi Kathy The seats in A2 are seats 3 and 4, whereas in A5 I'm not sure what the seat numbers are. I guess Section A2 is better only because the row is closer to the front although I would prefer to be more on the right side than the left, closer to Paul when he's on the piano etc.

I mailed CrowdSurge about putting up seat numbering for us. The response was that they show whatever seat chart the arena sents them. So they're blaming PetCo. Oh well.

Ticketmaster indicates there are 30 seats in each row in sections A3-A5; the rep I just spoke with indicates that seat number 1 in sections A3 & A5 are stage left, BUT that seat number 1 in A5 is stage right. ??

dennisdster: This does get a little confusing, doesn't it? Looks like what the rep told you matches what I said (except I think you meant to say "sections A3 & A4" are stage left). I was referring to the audience's point-of-view, rather than the performer's (which is referred to as "stage right or left"---I had to look that up!). Perhaps seat 1 can be described as being the closest seat to center stage, except for in the center section, where you couldn't very well put seat 1 in the center of the row. Anyway, I'm only going by ticketmaster's posted seating chart, I've never been inside Petco Park.
