Well after further thought, I've come to realize that if simply read the name on the handle, you can readily identify the cart without the necessity of purchasing this book...so I'm sure I just saved a lot of people $13.57

Zero Cool by John Lange. It?s a paperback thriller which first came out in 1969, recently re-released in March 2008. John Lange is a pseudonym of Michael Crichton. He wrote under that name while he was a student at Harvard Medical School because he didn?t want his professors to know he was writing paperbacks on the side to help pay for school. Most of the John Lange novels are out of print, but another one, Grave Descend, was re-released in 2006. The new edition of Zero Cool includes a nice surprise-- two new sections at the beginning and end titled ?Video Interview?. The main character, Peter Ross, is being interviewed by his grandson who is recording it on a DVD with a camcorder. This technology was not available when the book was released in 1969. Plus I have an original copy of the book and the sections aren?t in there. So it seems that not only is Michael Crichton re-releasing these books, he?s begun revising them as well. Perhaps with the new sections, he?s reflecting on his younger self who wrote Zero Cool.
