Did anybody notice that during the second half of "Let Em In", Paul sang "open the damn door" instead of "open the door". Just curious if he has ever done this before.
Did anyone notice Paul mix up Desmond and Molly's names during the last bit of Obladi?
He also messed up the 1st verse of Hey Jude. He caught himself and quickly fixed it. I was singing along and I thought I messed up!!! lol I also love Paul's little stories!! The Russian govt "I learn English listening to Beatles...Hello, Goodbye!!!"" lol Oh and his Uncle Ron at the New Year's Eve Party "Paul do you know Carolina Moon? Don't play it.....11:30 rolls around...PLAY IT NOW!!!"

I thought those stories were cute. Also like the joking about NC license plate that had his name spelled wrong.

This was the 4th time I've been privileged enough to see Paul, and I swear each time is better than the last. In terms of his voice and how much fun he seemed to have onstage, it's hard to think of how this one can be topped. Me and the two guys behind me yelled "Ram On!!!!" repeatedly when he grabbed his ukulele, and he kind of nodded at us and said something to the effect of "we have a request." Very cool. Oh, and don't know if any of you saw it but my little sister had the bright neon sign that said "I've Just Seen a Face PLEEEEEASE!!! Needless to say she was all smiles when he played it.

Fantastic, great quality and thanks for sharing. "Here Today" is such a beautiful song and should be a classic by more than McCartney fan

First post, great forum, very informative! What a phantastic evening with an even better ending. We had FLR2 front row seats, so we where very lucky to be really close to him. He seemed to have a good time and interacted nicely with the crowd. When he joked about them showing off their guitars he actually talked to me (well at least he made eye contact) , when he said "you would do it, right.....". It was just unbelievable. And that was not the end of it. After the 2nd encore when leaving the stage, Paul stopped right in front of us and told his security guy to hand him the CD cover I was holding up to him. He signed it, waved at us and gave it back to the security guy. So yes, we got the only autograpg he gave that evening. At least the only one he gave while on stage. What a phantastic ending of a phantastic evening, I was so wound up, I couldn't sleep all night. If anybody here on the forum has a picture or video of the moment he signed the my CD case, PLEASE share it with me! Thanks! Here is a picture of the case and one more of Paul.

So you are the one. On the way out, I mentioned to my wife that McCartney had stopped and signed something for somebody. Very cool !!!

Well, he wouldn't sign my arm, even when he ran out of time in Nashville. I thought for sure he would in Charlotte.

Anyone know of a link to a photo of the tourposter from the show?

Hey, does anyone know if the staff moved people up to front row center for the Charlotte show? I was just wondering. I was in 3rd row, but got to my seat too late to see if they brought people up there or if they just (fortunately) had those fabulous tickets. I know BarbB said they had brought people up to the front in Nashville. (I think) Just curious.

Yes, Shelley did in Nashville but that was only because the people who had purchased the tickets didn't show up. She slid everyone down in section 3 to section 2, and then filled in the empty seats. I saw her in Charlotte and talked, the front row was already pretty much filled so she couldn't move anyone.

Now, there's an interesting concept.... front row center, right in front of Paul.... they had something better to do?????? Jeez!! Lucky for the folks that got moved up though, that's for sure. : :
