well, that was not the same at all.... Paul and John and even The Beatles and The Stones helped each other and it wasn't about force and violence either.

They're still counting the votes in the US election with President Obama expanding his lead. He now leads by 3.1% and has a cushion of 4 Million votes! He won't reach his 2008 total, but he still has the two highest popular vote totals in presidential election history. And looks like there will be divine justice as mittens approaches the 47% theshold

And with that piece of information, the GOP may now step aside, STFU, work with President RE-elect Barack Obama -- and serve the people!

Johnson won 61.1% of the popular vote. Both Nixon and Franklin Roosevelt won over 60%. Several presidents have won well over 51%.

my comment said popular vote totals not % so higher population now higher voting #'s

If the population always gets higher, the vote count will always get higher. Bush had more votes than anyone at that time. As did Reagan, Nixon, Johnson, Eisenhower and etc. The next Republican president will probably win more votes than anyone ever has. Should his future supporters grasp at this straw when their man wins? Percentage is a far greater indicator than number of votes.

Since links to articles written by others rather than our own words are de rigueur, here is an article written by someone else. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/17/world/middleeast/suspected-collaborator-with-israel-executed-in-gaza.html?_r=0 (Graphic image warning) Some ask why negotiations between Israel and Palestine always fail. How do you negotiate with terrorists?
