The 2012 and beyond Political Thread - Part 2

Anyone can copy and paste......I belong to a website that is strictly political and no one throws the names out there......strictly facts and has you thinking. I will stick to that....

I would LOVE to see that site. You're telling me that there is a political site -- in America -- that is solely a healthy, productive exchange of opposing views? Take me now, Lord. Please provide a link sometime.
-
It is more for people down the middle who don't praise either side....just agree they are ALL losers...

So, as long as the name-calling is at politicians, it's a productive discussion? I'm amazed that there is such a place where politcs can be discussed and everyone agrees. Utopia may not be so far-fetched as we all had thought.
-
Isn't that where the name calling is warranted? You think calling someone who has a different point of view ignorant or brainwashed is ok? Sad if you do......people immediately lose interest.

I said that at the end of the other thread. Middle of the roaders not only lose interest but also want to go the other way!

At least one side is putting out the facts for those who want it.
Thanks for finally acknowledging the right's efforts to put forth facts and not some Daily KOS retread of old misinformation

OK -- I'll let ya' have that one, Rich. (see, folks, rich and I actually do respect each other)

And, with that said: If you don't like the exchanges here, it's best to let us be. That doesn't change the fact that once in a while, somebody actually gets educated here. Myself included.
-
That is your comeback? If you don't like it leave?
-
Precisely. Sorta' why I stay out of the Tea Party sites. Now this is the part where you move on, too.

Copy and pasting another persons view does not make it a fact.

Instead of posting another obvious, passive-aggressive admonishment, why not just contribute something that is germane to the thread? I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but it seems like you two are deliberately provoking personal tension -- and that is not my intent. Or is it simply your job to monitor others who elect to use this thread, rather than enlighten us with something of a political nature? You're being a bit abusive.

i don't think many here would recognize a FACT oops sorry 4 letter word Again looking forward to hearing some real facts from you Here are some real facts on the new Obamacare law Enjoy:
Here is text of vid with FACTS! If you're one of the more than 250 million Americans who already have health insurance, you will keep your health insurance?this law will only make it more secure and more affordable. Insurance companies can no longer impose lifetime limits on the amount of care you receive. They can no longer discriminate against children with pre-existing conditions. They can no longer drop your coverage if you get sick. They can no longer jack up your premiums without reason. They are required to provide free preventive care like check-ups and mammograms. Young adults under the age of 26 are able to stay on their parent's health care plans. Seniors receive a discount on their prescription drugs. And by this August, nearly 13 million of you will receive a rebate from your insurance company because it spent too much on things like administrative costs and CEO bonuses, and not enough on your health care. All of this is happening because of the Affordable Care Act. Today, I'm as confident as ever that when we look back five years from now, or 10 years from now, or 20 years from now, we'll be better off because we had the courage to pass this law and keep moving forward. -
While the bill wasn't perfect (i.e., the President conceded on the public option), there are some irrefutably beneficial elements. medicare wasn't perfect when it was passed in 1965, but it is widely loved now. Even by the redneck idiots who supposedly hate government but depend on Medicare -- and I would never dream of voting for a politician who works to deny them that coverage.
