Has it not occurred to any of our conservative friends out there that all these Republican politicians who opposed the legislation will receive lifetime FREE healthcare, courtesy of the tax-payers? And we're talking primo benefits here -- for them AND their families. Even if they serve just one term. Do you not see the disparity in this scenario?

Yeah, come on, if you see something that isn't true in my posts verify that it isn't . I do that all the time with yours. You just accuse but you don't know what you're talking about...none of you do..if you did you wouldn't be repubs because your policies have been a massive failure....and I've shown the proof many times on this thread...would be more than happy to again so all can see so you call someone a liar and you have no proof...what pathetic losers you all are

In twenty years they'll all be holding up signs saying "Don't touch my ACA Obamacare to pay for your socialist programs" They are so good for a laugh

You remind me of one of my favorite bumper-stickers: "Well-behaved women rarely make history." Keep fighting the good fight -- even if the wealth of info you share falls on deaf ears. At least our guy is comfortably ahead in the polls of all the key battleground states. He WILL be re-elected. How folks can support a sociopath like Romney is astounding to me -- then again, these are people who lack the intellectual wherewithal to realize that they're voting against their own interests.

And 66% of the country is running to Romney's camp since only 1/3 of the country supported this bill in any fashion and it took Obama's lie about the 'taxing' part and a secret senate vote to cram this crap down unwilling participant's throats...See you in November Fortunately the Holder debacle will only further fuel that as people ask why Obama set forth an executive order to help cover up a murder...two good deeds in one day

Only your biased polls (Obama with a 47% unfavorability??? )...but lets not let these facts get in the way . Btw, why don't Dems like to vote for anything (unless of course it's in secret so they can secure they're own agenda)? For example, why did so many walk out on the Holder contempt vote...mmmmm?

Where did Obama lie about it being a tax? It's perfectly fine for him, or you (laughable I know), or I to maintain that it should have stood up under the commerce clause (after all, the conservative judge, Richard Posner stakes that claim - http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/the_breakfast_table/features/2012/_supreme_court_year_in_review/affordable_care_act_upheld_why_the_commerce_clause_should_have_been_enough_.html - is he a "liar" too?). It's a case of the president simply disagreeing with means to his desired end, and only someone with a blindly conservative agenda would insist that Obama considered it a tax and lied about it all along. Regardless, only stubborn idiots who want to moan and complain about the tax and decide to opt out of the system will actually have to pay the tax. For instance... ...if you've got insurance paid by your employer, you don't have to pay the tax. ...if you attain insurance via an Exchange, you get a tax credit for paying the tax. ...if you can't afford coverage whatsoever, you certainly don't pay the tax. (Besides, momentarily playing along in your flawed scenario in which citizens are now paying for hand-out insurance, who do you think paid for the impoverished and uninsured before? Oh, that's right, the American taxpayers. Except this "tax" came from skyrocketing insurances rates designed to compensate for the uninsured. Now, the companies must have more transparency and government oversight in their dealings, preventing such shady tactics from taking place, which...brings costs down for everyone.) Of course, rather than address these facts, conservatives want to shout and misdirect, such as guys like: Michael Savage, conservative blowhard and, more recently, creator of the maybe-Roberts-was-high-on-his-meds theory. ( http://www.wnd.com/2012/06/michael-savage-roberts-affected-by-medication/ ) Larry Klayman, who opines that Elana Kagan and John Roberts should be indicted for their supposed reckless disregard for the constitution ( http://www.sacbee.com/2012/06/28/4596576/klayman-to-seek-indictment-of.html ) And of course, a Republican congressman and gubernatorial candidate in my home state of Indiana, Mike Pence, who claimed that this past Thursday was as tragic for America as 9/11. ( http://www.indystar.com/article/20120628/NEWS05/120628050 ) Then of course, we have the folks on here who, God bless 'em, can't accept that they've lost this round, so they try to spin the debate that Obama "lied" and that this landmark victory will actually be the final nail in the president's re-election coffin, when they've spent the previous months pining for (and arrogantly expecting) the ACA's repeal. The thing is, if you want to actually say that the ardent unpopularity of health care reform among certain segments of people might make this a bit of a tricky victory for the president, I can respect that. I'll disagree with you, but at least it's a legitimate idea. But this red herring that the president somehow believed it was a tax all along is just disingenuous and underscores the right's sore-loser mentality at this point. He maintains it's all good under the commerce clause, the SCOTUS says it's all good but it's a tax; he still wins, and it doesn't mean he's a liar. It's just rather than hitting a walk-off homer, the president had to settle for a go-ahead sacrifice fly.

The DOJ will not prosecute Holder. You're just gonna have to accept defeat on that one, too. It's disappointing that the same people who are (questionably) outraged over the death of the U.S. agent -- only because it's a tool to attack the Obama Administration -- are the same people who criticize "liberals" who opposed sending U.S. troops to that b.s. Iraq War. Moving on... I have a question for you: Is it fine with you that Congressmen/Senators get healthcare for life that taxpayers pay for? And how is that so different from what unions strive to do?

Calling people liars is just what richn does. Doesn't have justification or proof of any kind and couldn't produce any if he tried. So you won't hear back from him with any real justification. This is just who he is...he shoots from the hip.

Any thinking person can clearly see that the entire GOP shoots from the hip.

I LOVE #10!
but it still to high.. that based on what. One operation can cost 100,000 and that a lot of money for what? Paper pushing? Think about cancer costs. It a 100,000 per month. 15,000 for each person month they be making. Who doing the processing..Someone in china or india working for 1 hour. The should not be allowed to make more than 3%.. Its not their money? They also invest the money and make money off it. I think NO CEO can take bonus off health care. but a lot of good is coming from this. We still need medicare for all american. It the same policy for everyone. You going to see insurance company like before selling policy and when the person get sick the policy will have some small disclaimer filed somewhere.

Someone got the idea that they could "stack the deck" with an Executive Privilege to "cover-up" for Holder and/or himself. Time will tell ...
