harleyblues:
good tour name could have been: The Space Between Us- [size=7] kidding of course
AHAHAHAHAH!

RMartinez:
Don't mean to be negative, but I doubt MPL could or would change the staging configuration at this point. I know it sounds like the platform could just be ditched, but this is a major part of the show that was used in rehearsals and is part of the stage map each venue gets and prepares for.
Have to agree with you we can but hope things are rethought for when the tour moves on later in the year

I agree and do hope it changes for the better if and when a second leg is announced.

Tulsa? That show isn't until the 29th.
-
Is it a time-traveling platform? (yes, we know you meant Austin).

vid in Tulsa- with the GAP! yjanx to Nobody Told Me~sorry, I meant Austin... ops:

you people quit whining! Paul didn't do this for you who get the fancy close seats all the time. He changed it up for the people in the BACK so he can be closer to THEM who deserve it more than you and they can maybe finally get some decent pictures of him! ha! get over yourselves! I love you xx

If they don't want to change the configuration of their multi-million dollar stage, I understand. But a change to the seating configuration would be a good idea. No reason for such unused wasted space on the left and right sides of the platform for 95% of the show. Move the side floors up to the front of the main stage.... In other words: Granted those people would have an obstructed view for about 9 minutes.... but that's 9 minutes out of a 160 minute show! I think most of the people up front would gladly accept 9 minutes of an obstructed view, to be closer for the other 151 minutes!

That would be peachy for those in secs. 1 & 3, but I paid $1500 for sec. 2!! I say, just get rid of the damn thing!

well, I suppose MPL is avoiding the questions re: THE STAGE -- Never got a response~ oh well~
-
So from the pictures I've seen it doesn't seem to make more than a 5' difference at most. But on the other hand -- silly question, I know -- but why doesn't he just step out on the extension during a lot more songs? Doesn't have to be raised, but he would be closer to many fans then as well.

I asked that question a few weeks ago. No one seems to know. Seems a waste of space. Frankly, I think Paul should stand on the platform the whole show, except for piano songs.
