PBS to Show Football Expose

PBS will show a program about how dangerous American football is and delve into the fact that "on average 50 football players are killed each year." I'd thought about this before and wondered why the sport isn't banned. It's probably just too popular for fans to bear giving it up? Sometimes I think football and also sports car racing should be done away with because of all the fatalities. And boxing. These all seem barbaric to me, in a way. Granted, race car drivers can appear glamorous and all these sports exciting to their participants and the fans.
