Anybody watch EXTANT with Halle Berry?
-
How is that? Did she have an alien baby or what was going on? The trailer was interesting!

It's great! She was an astronaut and went into space for 13 months and came back pregnant from an alien. She thought she was hallucinating her dead fiancé and making love with him.

Yikes, those aliens can do those kinda mind tricks! gotta watch that one for sure, from the beginning. I tried to jump into the middle, but it didn't make sense! Thanks!

Summer TV stinks. Not much of anything good to watch.

I totally disagree! I just watched the 3-part series "Tut" which was really good! I'm also watching these summer shows: Proof, Royal Pains, The Whispers, Wayward Pines, The Brink, Penny Dreadful, Under the Dome, Aquarius, Atlantis, Poldark, Extant--the list goes on! (some have finished up already)
-
True Detective with Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell is also good.
-
More good shows: Defiance (Sy Fy) Beauty and the Beast (CW) Hannibal (NBC) Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell (BBC Am) Falling Skies (TNT)

We enjoyed this series as well, definitely worth the time spent watching! As I type this message, encore airing of all three episodes on the Spike channel, began at 6PM EDT.

The young man who played Tut was perfect for the role!

Agree, the casting in general is very well done!

Switched At Birth on Aug. 24th

I will totally pounce on "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" when it comes out on DVD, it sounds real funny...anyone here watching that?...and on that limited series about Will Arnett as the last person on the planet after Armageddon or a similar uber-catastrophe

Are you talking about the show The Last Man On Earth? That's Will Forte.
-
Yes, that's right it's Will Forte's show (he also starred in the great movie "Nebraska"). "Wayward Pines" might be made into a continuing series, I read. I want to get that on DVD. And "Nurse Jackie"

I would love to see more of Wayward Pines!

I HATED the ending though!

Premiere of Switched At Birth this week was even better than I expected!
