A Woman's Face On The American $20 Bill
-
A team of 5th graders have recently gotten together and started a campaign to have a woman's face put on the $20 bill There a 16 candidates and 80,000 votes so far. They had the story on CNN, but it went by so fast in light of all the bad news they think they have to focus on ...that you couldn't catch all of the candidates. Who do you think should be on there?

I like the Eleanor Roosevelt one. I saw the Rosa Parks one too. Either one. Maybe I need to look again.

A woman's face on american Bill I guess that would be Bill Clinton you are talking about joking apart I thought it was just Presidents on American money. In the UK we have both men and women on our notes but just the monarch on our coins If I had to pick I would choose Betty Ford
-
Thinking that I would like Rosa Parks or Clara Barton, who was a humanitarian.... or hopefully a future woman President!

Those two are great candidates! Eleanor was a very profound woman for anyone who has studied her life. I watched a great documentary on her recently! The candidate list is for those who are not with us anymore.

As a nurse, I pick Florence Nightingale!

I forgot she was English! Oh well, put her on the 20 pound note then! P.S. I actually visited the Florence Nightingale museum in London in 2006. There was another "Operating Theatre" nurse on the tour from New Zealand!

Presidents, Benjamin Franklin and Alexander Hamilton. Martha Washington was very briefly on a bill in the 1800s. If they're going to replace Jackson, maybe Sacagawea is a good choice, what with Jackson's history with her people.

Although wasn't jackson already replaced with Keith Richards on the 20? Sacagewea would be amazing to see.

I'd vote for Linda McCartney

I think you're thinking of Johnny Depp.
-
I won't accept one as payment because right now it would be a fake

Betsy Ross

Betsy Ross
That's a good choice since she's bipartisan. Anyone from the 20th century would only upset one group or another.
