We can probably start predicting what the setlist for the next tour might look like. Here is a list of songs that he has to perform in every show for his new fans (the crowd pleasers) The Long And Winding Road Blackbird Eleanor Rigby Band On The Run Back In The USSR Let It Be Live And Let Die Hey Jude Lady Madonna Get Back Yesterday Helter Skelter I assume that he will keep the new songs that he did on this tour such as Venus and Mars, Letting Go and Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five as well. I also read somewhere that he did a couple of new Fireman songs in his soundchecks, but I can't remember what they were, there is a possibility that they might get added too.

The fireman songs performed on soundchecks are "Sun is shining" and "Lifelong Passion". Would be nice add. I think that for his next setlist will be there few change. I hope to hear finally live "Lovely Rita" and "The night before" for the Beatles era. "Beautiful night" and "Tug of war" for the solo years. And 2 new Lennon/Harrison tribute : "In my life" and "Here come the sun".

Don't know if he'll bring Maybe I'm Amazed back since he hasn't played it since 2005... that said, IMHO, his voice sounds better now than it did 5 years ago so I hope he does bring it back! I totally agree with your other picks, especially Uncle Albert & Bluebird!! Two of my favorites!! I'd love to see him add Hope of Deliverance, Put It There, and Young Boy to his acoustic set!

Personally, I'd really enjoy If I Needed Someone as the Harrison tribute. As for the Lennon tribute, I doubt Here Today will get replaced, but if it did, I'd go for Ticket To Ride. As far as the new setlist, as long as Paperback Writer (my all-time favorite song) doesn't get replaced, I'm cool with pretty much anything. I will say that if songs like The Long And Winding Road, Let Me Roll It, Dance Tonight, Blackbird, and Mrs. Vandebilt were to disappear, I wouldn't be that upset, as long as some of his better solo hits replace them (in my opinion, Figure of Eight, Junior's Farm, Helen Wheels, Coming Up, and the return of Flaming Pie). I think he really hit a home run with the setlist on this tour, personally. Oh, and since I mentioned Paperback Writer, and I apologize for this slightly off-topic tangent, did anyone else think some recordings from Good Evening New York City were kinda "off"? On Paperback Writer and Day Tripper, the guitars seem quieted a little and borderline inaudible during the vocals. Also, Get Back's vocals seem to be a little off as well. Did anybody else notice this? I hope that if he releases recordings from this tour, improved recordings of those 3 are included.

I think Taxman would be great for a Harrison tribute, with Paul playing lead guitar.

                      20/12/09 - Good Evening Dublin
12/06/10 - Up and Coming Dublin
18/12/10 - Live at the Apollo, Hammersmith
20/12/11 - On the Run, Liverpool

Seems to me many people don't want McCartney to stretch out enough, I don't want a safe setlist, I want McCartney to really go for it!

yes this is a good call. im not sure about 'revolution' though.i think it might be just taking it too far with the lennon stuff. for a different lennon song he would be better to do one he didnt have a connection with[lennon solo] as a 'tribute'. although both current tributes for george and john are still a highpoint on the set list for me.

It's been a while since he opened with Hello Goodbye, I'd love to hear that but I also love Venus and Mars. I think a lot of you would agree that he is still not doing enough Wings songs. A few of you suggested Helen Wheels, I would love to hear that and Silly Love Songs. I think Paul's band at this stage can basically play any song and nail it. How about Imagine for a Lennon tribute, wouldn't that be the perfect song?

You know what's funny? Paul's VIP coordinator, Shelley, said that "Sun is Shining" was a new song Paul hadn't recorded yet. I thought I'd heard it before, but assumed it was from a bootleg I had, lol. Either way, it sounded awesome at soundcheck, and I hope it gets added to the setlist SOON. Here are my other "please add" songs Getting Closer Getting Better No More Lonely Nights Backseat of My Car Ram On Monkberry Moon Delight Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey That will do for a start... wink
