Still think its gonna be the usual show in the US/Canada but with an early Beatles number thrown in i.e Twist and Shout/Love me do.
This is my fear. I'd love the addition of "Hope of Deliverance" (as I've posted at least a dozen times in the past two months ), but I'm thinking same old/same old, or at best a song or two from the 2002 or 2005 setlists cycled in.
Would have thought Hope of Deliverance wud stay, similar to the Mexico gigs. Not long til first US show, but won't be getting hopes up!
I'm hoping it does, but am worried he'll treat "HOD" like "Mull of Kintyre" and only play it in certain countries.

Maybe this time Paul will add "Lovely Rita" and "The Back Seat Of My Car".
Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Because that's what would happen if he pulled these out in St. Louis. A great way to go...
Well, Paul's band members have stated in old tour programs that they had been trying to talk him into performing certain songs. Some of those have been performed live, such as "Junior's Farm" and "Come And Get It". I think it's only a matter of time until "Lovely Rita" and "The Back Seat Of My Car" are performed live, even if just for a few concerts.

Actually it's the rockers and wailers that Paul most often manages to pull off these days -- not quite the same as in the old days, but quite passably. It's the quieter tunes where his voice shows its age the most. But if he does "Oh Darling!" his voice may not last for many shows.
-
Perhaps a slowed-down version of "Oh Darling", in the style of the one included on "Anthology 3"? Has done that sort of thing on previous tours, with piano performances of songs like "Fixing A Hole", "For No One" and "You Never Give Me Your Money".

I wouldn't be opposed to a one-time-only performance of "Oh Darling" at the St. Louis show. And my projected attendance of this show has absolutely no bearing on this position.

He should definitely do it and to overcome the voice strain problems, he should lipsynch to it.
