I agree. Just wondering how long he will do that and people actually want to see that...

People don't necessarily have a problem with it, but us, forum hardcore fans do. And, as I've seen along these past 4 years, a lot of fans wish for new songs to be performed live, and they're right, it must be tiring for a fan that has gone for more tan 5 concerts, to listen Back In The USSR, Here Today (this one is not liked by many, many people), Drive My Car or Lady Madonna yet again. I'm only expecting for 4 changes at most, as many here, but if Paul proves me wrong, well, that would be most welcome.

With the massive relaunch of Wings Over America, and the Rock Show Blu Ray, I am wondering whether Paul will integrate a lot of mid seventies Wings numbers into the set. Silly Love Songs, Magneto & Titanium Man, Letting Go, Listen To What the Man Said being examples.

That's possible. But he didn't do that with the relaunch of RAM. But this may be different. Seems kind of strange to do something like that at so many dates right before releasing a new CD. Where does he go from there?

The media in places like NYC keep track of his setlist since he has played in NY quite a bit over the last 10 years. I hope when he plays the new Barclay's Center (Brooklyn), his setlist has more than 3-4 changes because they will say something the next day in the reviews.

He wouldn't want anyone to die & think they've gone to heaven.

That would be nice I always liked "Call me back again" but that I think would be hard for him to do vocally but we can always dream.

Who's excited for the new setlist? I know I am! There are some rumours going around about possible new songs appearing, particularly from the mid-70s Wings era. Did anyone notice this?: It very clearly says "Titanium" on a monitor in one of the rehearsal shots posted in the new collection. Could this be a visual for Magneto + Titanium Man? Also apparently appearing: With A Little Luck, Listen To What The Man Said, All Things Must Pass and the return of the Venus and Mars opening medley and Letting Go. I guess all will be revealed on Saturday/Sunday!

Why is "All Things Must Pass" being rumored? To replace "Something"? Not getting why Paul would (should?!) be doing it...I wouldn't mind it - I just don't *get* it. Sorry if already discussed at length elsewehere! Loving the other rumoured material though!

Sounded nice in the 2004 shows... and he if feels he MUST do a tribute, then I'd prefer ATMP instead of Something.... if only for a change.

Thanks for the reply and that's fair enough - I love the song and had forgotten that Paul performed it. But sorry to say that ATMP would be one of the songs too many would use as an excuse for a beer/bathroom break.... I do agree that Something is a little "tired" at this point but I'd actually prefer that Paul leave the ukelele alone and go back to playing bass on the song - it's one of his best and most memorable basslines EVER and I would personally swoon if I saw/hear him do it live.
-
I do think he would get a far greater reaction from the audience if he attempted Here Comes The Sun, instead of All Things Must Pass.

I'd prefer While My Guitar Gently Weeps myself. Also if he has to do a John tribute i'd go with In My Life as it's a moving and great Lennon/McCartney track.

I am too hoping the Titanium picture is refering to Magneto and Titanium man, but I wonder why it just says Titanium? Why not Magneto or Titanium Man? Could it be that Paul has a track titled Titanium on the new album? Just a shot int he dark on my part but it makes you wonder.

Always kind of chuckle when I hear a song is one that people use to get a beer or bathroom break. I would never want to miss any song just to stand on line to get a beer. If I am going to enjoy a beer, I get it before the concert begins or go out after show to have one.

Yeah, that blows my mind too. My dad enjoyed the St. Louis concert VERY much, but he left twice to get a beer and while he could still hear the whole thing, he was off the floor for probably about 8 songs total. No way I could do that. I missed Day Tripper at Fedex Field because my pants were in danger of becoming VERY wet if I did not...I don't get the large sodas at Paul concerts no more!

I haven't been keeping up; am I correct in understanding that this tour will feature few -- if any -- songs from the new album, in favor of a Wings-heavy show to coincide with the WOA remaster?

I don't think anyone knows for sure. We will all know in about 48 hours.

That's the word...but this is definitely one of those "hope for the best, prepare for the worst" scenarios.

Where was ATMP and With a Little Luck rumored?
