The Concord's nose drooped on landing due to the Delta wing. It flew at Mach 2, faster than the Earth spins... It was supersonic and flew at such a high altitude, the sky outside looked Purple. It flew at 48,000 feet and you could see the Earths curve! Bring the Concorde back!! 3.5 hours from New York to London or Paris!
Yes, bring it back! Though I think it was very expensive to fly on it. 3.5 hours is nothing compared to the 10 hour flight I'm about to take in a few days!
Have a great time Paulfan!
Thanks Oobu!

That's about 3 movies and 2 1/2 food servicing meals by the crew! Have so much fun!! Happy for you!
Yes, hoping to get some sleep as well, (I can't sleep in cars or planes, so we shall see!) but thankfully this plane has the TV screens on the back of the seats and wireless in case insomnia kicks in! And thank you!

Yes I have one of those neck pillows, so hoping that will help. Right now its supposed to rain the first few days I'm there, but weather is ever changing so hard to say right now.

Today, I learned empty nest syndrome feels like - Our daughter (and only child) is currently in route to the UK for school. I didn't realize you could feel proud, but punched in the gut at the same time

That somebody's little boy dropped his OshKosh shoes in two different places when taking the dogs for a walk. I carried the farther one and placed it with the nearer one. Posted on subdivision fb group.

I had forgotten how lethal toddlers can be! One of our twin granddaughters butt me really hard with her head & as a result my ribs on the left really hurt. Went to the Dr. & discovered they're bruised & it will take at least a month before they heal.

I learned what a celesta is... The celesta looks like a tiny upright piano and sounds a lot like the glockenspiel with its delicate bell-like tone. Celestas usually have a keyboard of 49-65 keys. As with the piano, you make sound on the celesta by pressing down on a key with your finger, which lifts a hammer inside and strikes a metal bar. You can play many notes at once using both your hands.

I'm surprised you didn't already know about this. Paul & Linda play a celeste on several songs. George Martin, and probably Paul, play it on a few Beatles songs. Also

Which songs is it played on? Just stumbled on it really...it's quite a magical dream like sound...wondering if Enya has it in her songs too? Would be interested to know what songs if you know?

Off the top of my head, Paul plays prominent celeste parts on "Alligator" and "Road", Linda or Paul plays one on "Figure Of Eight" and some other Flowers/Off the Ground songs, George Martin has a solo on "Baby It's You" and plays it in the background on "Good Night". I'm sure there are other examples.

That I will not be going to see Elton in Louisiana or Vegas thanks to the real estate criminals. Took away all my money to go to Vegas with their real estate scams. Have nothing to wear to concert either. I DID have it until they wouldn't leave me alone. Cyberstalking me all over the Internet. If something is not for sale, don't tear it down to get it. My childhood home was to me, what Luggala was to Oonagh and her family.
