If you ever need help getting into MS Office after you install a new hard drive on your mac and can't find or never had the purchased product key, send me a msg. and I'll give you the phone no. to call to get it activated. I've only spent a good part of two days getting this resolved.
Unbelievable how difficult some of these things can be. I'm a pc but have had similar probs as of late. New TV, new internet router, laptops screwed up. :
Sorry to hear that. Yes, tech issue are so time consuming. We have the internet router from hell. It has a 68 digit password and you can't change it unless you pay a monthly fee. Seriously. The brand name is something like Links, but spelled a different way.
OMG is that a long password. Do you own the router or renting it?
I suppose we bought it. There is no charge now, but we can't change the password. So, if we ever need to reconnect to the smart TV or the computer, it's heck to pay.
Can you hook up new items if you punch in the loooong password? Mine is maybe 15 digits.

Lousy hospital had nerve to send me a questionnaire to fill out & return. They said name, address & phone are optional, but I noticed they had a code on it, so even if personal info wasn't filled out, they'd still know who filled it out & sent it in. I vented my frustrations by filling it out & shredding it. Then I left a review on Yelp letting everyone know what a rotten hospital it is. I used a pen name & different town, so my true identity is hidden.

Sounds like the smart thing to do. I've always thought if you give them a favorable rating and then later had a complaint, they could always go back and say "Well, you said you were happy about this or that, so we can't rectify it now" or something to that effect.

Yes. What a pain :

Parents who don't step up & assume responsibility for their kids, no matter how old they are. If we had ever said "Shut Up" or "F You" to our parents, they would've beaten the hell out of us, no matter how old we were. It's so wrong when another adult steps in & gets a suicidal 28 year old into rehab, while the parents sit by and do NOTHING!

I hear ya'. It's that time of year. Thankfully I've seen the city crews out repairing them. Have you considered putting in a claim for damages? In Toronto you can submit a claim.

You and The_Fool should try driving on the roads here in San Antonio, you'll be buying new tires, shocks and wheel Alignments in a year!

Why women in the year 2017 are still ridiculed for having short hair is beyond me. Good grief people there are more important things to get worked up about and that isn't one of them.

Where did you see that, paulfan11 ? Thanks for info.

Ouch, L2T! On the other hand, goood thing they let you make it up. Just saying. I have a freelancer's perspective, though. I wish I could make up work that I'm not able to take on sometimes because of previous commitments.

That sounds like socialism. Instead, Americans vote for politicians who cut funding for public works in order to pay for their raises.

TV5. Their programme is a mess. Worse: they replaced their best shows Nikita and Supernatural with uninteresting and boring ones.

I was really happy because it was mortgage week!! Not so much only one weekend day off. Grateful for the work. Glad I get paid for a few sick days too!! That must be tough when you're freelancing...I know a couple who freelance and they wind up working, even during their vacations. It does give them a flexible schedule though...

Templeton Financial. OMG. These people keep calling & won't speak to a woman! They just hung up on me. Don't waste your cold calls here honey. I hope no one ever invests with you from a cold call.

I wondered why the word "San Bernandino" popped up in my head a couple of times just recently, and today read about a school shooting in that city in an elementary school that left two adults dead and two children seriously wounded (I have ESP sometimes. A mild, sporadic kind. Not a full blown psychic or anything like that.)

The man who mows my lawn broke the gate, said he would fix it, and never did!!
