Bring It On Home to Me Al Jarreau, Paul McCartney, George BensonThanks. I wonder if they performed it together or via computer.
The story is that George Benson and Al Jarreau were recording their album in Los Angeles and Paul was at the studio, doing whatever he was doing there. He stopped in to say hello and they - Benson, Jarreau, Herbie Hancock, Vinnie Colaiuta and Stanley Clarke - asked him to sit in. He was busy, so he said he'd come back another day. They thought he'd never come back, but a day or two later, he was there and they recorded the song. Abe Laboriel Sr also plays on it, so that might have helped.

Political commentator Alan Colmes - passed away at 66 after battling cancer. Although I didn't agree with him on many of his views, I did found him engaging and he often gave me pause for thought...RIP Alan Colmes Speaking of which, can someone tell me whether this is Alan at 1:55 of this Paul McCartney video?

So sad about his passing. I was kind of thinking it looked like Max Weinberg...

Rest in Peace Alan Colmes. Peace and comfort to his family and friends. When I surfed and caught Hannity and Colmes - I also appreciated all points of view. Even if his views were different - he presented them well without all the hate that you hear for both sides that don't agree on the issues in today's news and politics. The people from this show have said recently that after they disagreed on the show - Hannity and Colmes were friends and would get along very well after the show. It was sad to hear this news of his passing

So sad to hear this! He was born exactly 6 days after me, same year.

61 is way too young. But you know that somewhere, some obituary title is going to be "Game Over, Man".

Tommy LiPuma, producer who sold millions of records with Natalie Cole, Barbra Streisand and Paul McCartney, dies at 80

Wow, he was about 6 years older than Paul, but even back when they worked together he looked like he could be his father! Of course it's mainly because Paul looked so young for his age. We are losing so many great people lately.
