Very sorry to hear about Ray. "For My Lady" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
"Ray Thomas, a founding member of the protean British rock group the Moody Blues, died on Thursday at his home in Surrey, south of London. He was 76.
His death was announced by his label, Esoteric Recordings/Cherry Red Records. The label did not specify the cause, but Mr. Thomas said in 2014 that he had prostate cancer."

We all remember the Dick Van Dyke Show, but Rose Marie was a child star when she was 5 years old. Her roller coaster career, working with black musicians long before that was allowed, and friendship with the mafia would make a great movie.
Bruce McCandless, the first person to fly freely in space, died December 21.
John Young, the 9th person to walk on the moon and 1st space shuttle commander, died January 5.
Of the 12 men who walked on the moon, only 5 are still alive, and they are all 82-87 years old. -

"Grazin' in the grass... it's a gas baby can you dig it?" Another song that is etched into my mind forever. Thanks, for sharing your talents, Hugh!

Masekela was also a great human being who spoke out against apartheid in South Africa and was never afraid to stand up for his beliefs: https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2018/01/24/580346946/what-hugh-masekela-meant-to-south-africas-freedom-fighters

Where's the love for the late The Cranberries singer, Dolores O'Riordan, with her beautiful distinctive singing voice with a lovely Irish lilt...remember the very pleasing hits "Linger" and "Dreams," among others, and the very effective, moving anti-war ditty "Zombie," and more.

Sorry, but I’m embarrassed to say I had never heard of her or the group.

I don't think anyone here posted this but Mickey Jones, actor from 'Home Improvements', 'Justified' TV & rock drummer died Feb 8, 2018. Some very interesting facts about Mickey...
While Mickey was drumming for Trini Lopez in Paris on the same bill as the Beatles, in 1963, it was Mickey who filmed with his own camera, the only 8mm color film footage in existance today, of the Beatles performance at the Olympia.
Here is the Beatles segment Mickey filmed, with audio overdub, balcony and side of stage shots... He describes what it was like...And here's the complete segment he filmed (overdubs):
