No, I didn't see that. Probably because I saw the pic & caption earlier when you posted it in the Beatles pic section.

Sigh... You have to be of a certain age, I guess, to understand how completely Hill Street Blues turned TV cop shows (and TV dramas in general) upside-down. He had some misfires (does anyone remember Cop Rock), but produced some amazing stuff.

Barbara Bushdies at age 92.

This will sound mean, but I am unable to muster the slightest sympathy for any member of the Bush family. Way too many people are dead because of them. And no, Barbara wasn't president, but she sure as hell was an enabler.

Classy response Bruce. Very classy.

"To honor his wife of 73 years and her commitment to family literacy, for which she raised over $110 million over the course of over 30 years, George H.W. Bush will be wearing a pair of socks festooned with books at today's funeral service for former first lady Barbara Bush," McGrath tweeted. "
Bush spoke about the importance of literacy during her tenure as first lady and encouraged people to read. The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy has provided more than $110 million to create or expand family literacy programs in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
"I chose literacy because I honestly believe that if more people could read, write, and comprehend, we would be that much closer to solving so many of the problems that plague our nation and our society," the former first lady said.

She loved blue dresses and pearls. With her personal politics, it was easy to see that she was a closet democrat surrounded by a bunch of republican males. My oldest daughter and 3 oldest grandkids met and shook hands with George Jr. while he was campaigning in 2000. And, they are all democrats as well now.
