I know! Perhaps he was trying to keep his mind off the illness. He was such a kind man. He was a spokesperson for World Vision and travelled to many third world countries on projects with the charity. He hosted the National Geographic Bee for many years. There were so many causes that he involved himself with, over the last 30 years. He also reached out to John Lewis, who also had stage 4 pancreatic cancer with encouragement. God rest his soul.
Did you mean to quote me? You just quoted yourself.

Robert Redford's son James also died a couple of weeks ago. Liver cancer I think. Sad.

I was sad to learn that British entertainer Des O'Connor had passed away over the weekend. A very talented all-rounder, he was a very modest guy and very funny. Here's a clip where he appears with two of his old friends, Morecombe & Wise.

.....and there is a Beatles association when Des O'Connor interviewed them at the Royal Albert Hall on 18th February 1965 during the Daily Mirror Golden Ball event.

Oh, no... Ryan Brady, 34, who co-hosted the podcast "Take It Away" with Chris Mercer, devoted to all Paul McCartney music, was killed in a solo car accident Nov. 26, 2020 at 1 a.m. in Los Angeles. Ryan was married to a daughter of Monkee Davy Jones. Obsessive music fans Ryan and Chris reviewed every single (and album) Paul musical offering on their entertaining and informative Paul podcast beloved by so many Macca fans. Ryan was so young...

Terrible news about Ryan Brady. So young.
RIP.

Just read this from a friend on FB and came here to post. I know BJ listened to Take It Away all the time.
Very sad!

I totally agree Bruce, it is like make it stop!!! NOW I feel so badly for doctors and nurses... it has to be hell for them. PTSD when this is over.
It’s like 4 Boeing 777 planes crashing and killing all aboard. This happens every day now. There was a meeting of the Pandemic team last July and then when Biden put together his 13 member team, Trumps team met again last week! God Bless all of the souls we have lost, it should be only one Boeing 777 crashing per day instead of 4 if we followed known medical practices and didn’t have Trump preventing using the methods other industrialized are implementing.

Yes, it gets worse. Ryan Brady's friend Max, 33, was in the car and also was killed. I forgot to put that in there.
