The graphic is OK, but not much for fit and tailoring.
In other words: It's a plain cut -- doesn't flatter the physique. It's more Fruit Of The Loom than designer.

Agreed, I heard nothing but good things from the younger crowd around where we were and after Outside Lands in 2013 as we were walking out of the park. I even had a younger co-worker rave about his performance the following Monday and they were not really a Paul fan at all. They were after that night! I don't get this attitude that some have that Paul shouldn't play to the younger crowds. Why can't the younger crowds be exposed to his music at festivals? Doesn't make any sense.
Did you hear the fans singing Hey Jude as we were walking through the tunnels exiting GG park? That was pretty cool and most of the crowd was <30.

You can also hear the ignorant, disrespectful folks talking all the way through it.

I want one! Stopped worrying about my physique long ago.

Whoa...he sounds really cactus on this one!

I must say that after watching a bunch of the videos from Lollapalooza that Paul was in great form. While his voice was, of course, hoarse and a little weak at certain times, his ad-libs and phrasing was spot-on for most of the night. The overall live vibe from Paul and the Band was terrific. Can't wait to see some more of the commentary from the media on Sunday and Monday. Sounds like Paul at 73 took Lollapalooza and Chicago over only like a Beatle can. I really liked both the slow and fast tunes. Loved Blackbird, Here Today and Let It Be but also loved Band on the Run, Back in the USSR and Get Back. You could tell that Brittany from Alabama Shakes was in awe of playing with Paul and Band during Get Back. I also loved Paul's comments about "Disco" just before he began Here Today.

Yes! We were walking through the tunnel to exit at that time as well. He really won them all over that night.

It does get harder, doesn't it? I can relate.

I'm glad he does the festivals. I have no desire to go to festivals at this point in my life (heck I don't like going to outdoor concerts at all anymore - can't control the weather) - but they are a good challenge for him. I also like that instead of trying to 'be like' the other acts he tries to get the audience to come to him. You can't be someone you are not and succeed. They had 100,000 people at Lolla on Friday and most were at his stage. if he gets even 1% of that group to say - wow I like that music - that's almost a 1,000 new fans to check out your music. FWIW, loved the fourfiveseconds mashup and you can really hear the crowed singing with him on the youtube video. The crowd obviously knows that song well. This is something i sort of wish he would do more of. He will never have another hit on his own - he is simply too old, but he is still writing some wonderful music - let some younger acts record some of it - let some of the younger ones hear what a great melody sounds like. Realistically imo he has 2-3 good years of touring left. Lolla was a strong performance but even so his voice is noticeably weaker that the start of Out There in the US in orlando less than 2 years ago. That is only going to continue as he ages - you can't outrun father time. His voice is not as strong and his top range is not as high (though he still has his falsetto). Now he may decide to continue touring for 7 more years for all I know butmy personal opinion is that he has 2-3 before vocally they simply will not be that appealing anymore. A different reason, but a similar rationale to the recent Glenn Campbell documentary - you let them tour until you feel that there are simply having too many poor moments and then you quit.

Did anyone snag one of the Paul Lollapalooza shirts? http://i.imgur.com/mYpcrCH.jpg They also had it in blue, too.
I got the blue/purple one. It's the most comfortable of all the Paul shirts I own (maybe because of the rayon). They had a couple of other styles, maybe they will show up on the web store?

I'm guessing they eventually will. The Candlestick shirt got to the webstore, and shirts from Charlottesville, Columbia, Philly and other new shirt designs are in the webstore as well.

From your first comment about not going to festivals or outdoor concerts, I'm getting the impression that you've given up on things in your life that you used to do, so it makes perfect sense that you are expecting Paul to be like you and also give up and quit. Having gone myself to an outdoor concert recently (Firefly) and being over the age of most of the concert goers there Slogging through the psychedelic muddy forest to get to the stage, and having my shoes sucked off in the mud! I just was there to have fun and hear the latest music and Paul. All I could hear was the excitement of all the people like me, slogging through the mucky mud... and conversation over conversation was overheard about the people's real excitement of getting to see Paul McCartney!! "Dude, you haven't seen Paul McCartney? He's awesome!!" And along those lines from everyone. Then watching him play...the very young kids around me were truly in awe and very psyched to be hearing him! No snarky comments about his voice, more like how happy they were to be there...and over the years....I have even sat with someone about 17 crying with happy tears that she felt so lucky to have seen a Beatle live and how it meant sooooo much!! Another couple of young kids who were raving about seeing Paul to me at Firefly. He was voted best act at the show!! So I am always saddened when I hear of people who have given up for their on reason, age perhaps...and want all the other older people to give up, with them! You can let your age define you or you can choose to define your age... We all make our own choices. I'm always going to go to shows...maybe I'll have to get some young person wheel me in at some point (hope not) but I'm enjoying life right up to the end! Oh and he had a hit, which he sang, 45 Seconds! Good on him! Please don't count him out on having another hit...

I guess I'm too old, too, then. Because I will NEVER do Bonnaroo again. And, perhaps, the fact that I was not under the influence of anything -- not even a contact-high from the plethora of a particular libation filling the air -- might've played a role in that.
