If you have Golden Circle tickets to this concert, around how long do you think you would have to queue before the doors open in order to get within the first 5-10 rows?
it depends how many gates w'll be reserved for golden circle category. It could be too that there is no distinction at first and a further extra control point is in the station near the barrier to gold cirle section. No matter how it exactly will be, when your tickets are checked u have to run for u life If u want to come into the first rows, u should be there (very) early. My last non seated macca experiences were Leipzig and Praha 2004. On both concerts we got "row" 9 and 5. We arrived at the stations in early afternoon... u've to wait hours before and inside the station and the chance to come directly in front of stage is low. This is the reason I like seated concerts. U can buy an expensiv ticket for row 1 - 6 and during the first chords u run/jump to stage direction. It was sucessfuly for all seated gigs I visited till yet.

Has anyone some plains ? I am reffering to things like banners, I don''t know, stuff like that.. I know I saw at the others concerts people that created a wonderful view for Paul.. ( for ex, there were many rows of people with white balloons... ) If anyone has ideas, they are welcome .. Let's do something!! I think Paul would be deeply delighted!
-
The concert isn't sold out, does anyone know how it's going with the ticket sales?

Looks like the Warsaw show and this Vienna show are the only two where ticket sales are in the good but not great dept. The Verona show seems to have sold well, though.

I was also thinking about it, but I've no good idea till yet. We need a lot's more fans to create an unforgetable moment for paul and the band. Nice ideas from other fans are welcome!

Don't worry. I can't speak for this particular event, but I sometimes receive my international tickets 3 months in advance, sometimes 3 days, and everything in between. Start worrying when people here are reporting they got their tickets, and you still haven't received anything 2 weeks later. Then you can contact the organisation and they will settle it.

yeah so magic that he quickly returns to europe in autumn/winter. But what could be "magic"? I believe first at all we need a lot's of fans visiting the vienna who join us. With me comes 8 other to the concert. But we need more...! Brazil Fans did manage their idea via facebook. Not sure but maybe we should also use this platform. Is there anybody esle with ideas?

Yes, we can try use facebook, probably there are more active fans.. Well... we should think to a message very touching, I don't know.. When he will sing Give Peace a Chance, I think it would be wonderful to have balloons with helyum and, at one moment, we could let all of them fly .. We need more people, more ideas.. Let's try on facebook.. Do you know the name of group? Or if it isn't we should create one..

I'm absolutely up for doing something special for Paul, maybe we should sing something to him? In a concert in Brazil the crowd sang ''We love you, yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe we should do something similar, what do you guys think? And btw, is anyone else staying at the Courtyard by Mariott Wien Messe? I really don't know the area, is it possible to just walk to the arena from the hotel?

I'm not staying there myself, but yes, you can walk to the stadium from the hotel. Should take you 10 to 15 minutes maximum. Just walk north on Trabrennstrasse, where the hotel is located, then turn right into Vorgartenstrasse and walk along that street until you see the stadium on your right. Impossible to miss! EDIT: Sorry, initially I wrote "turn left into Vorgartenstrasse" - that's wrong, I meant turn right. I have edited the original post.

Does anyone know how the ticket sales are going for this show now? It's just quite surprising that Golden Circle tickets are still available with the concert just over a month away.

I`m from vienna, and when i heard the News he`s gonna Play here at the big Stadium, i immediately thought "he`s NEVER EVER going to sell that out!" It`s a 50 000-55 000 capacity and I think Paul`s fan potential is something like 10 000 in this place (with People from other countries like you, maybe 15 000); he should have booked the stadthalle (capacity ~ 10 0000), which is the venue that he played all his previous vienna Shows (w/ wings and solo) before. I don`t know who in his camp had that brilliant idea i - and also other music-business insiders i spoke to - would not be surprised if they will change the venue to Stadthalle at the last Minute OR play at a Stadium in front of 10 000 - 15000 People... anyway, I`m looking forward to the Show

I'm curious: What event could sell out that big stadium?

Football (or as you in america call it "Soccer") well, no... seriously there are a few artists that easily would sell that Stadium out... all the mediocre Mainstream shite you can think of... U2, R.E.M [before they split up], Coldplay, Bon Jovi, the Stones... acts like that sold it out before, I think. I don`t know why, but i don`t think Paul (as a solo Artist) has the same standing in Austria as those acts... everyone loves the Beatles, but Paul, well... even among my friends most seem to think John Lennon was the genius of the Beatles. Paul`s just muzak in their opinion (I`ve changed some minds, but you cannot expect me to change the opinon of 8 Million People... haha ).

I don't think Paul would perform in a 50,000 seat stadium that had 10,000 people in it to see him. He would cancel before doing that. Syracuse, NY experienced that in 1993 and Horsens Denmark in 2012.

my guess is that they will change the venue (as i said the stadthalle has a 10000-13000 capacity)...

I really hope that this show won't be cancelled Do you really think it's likely he will change venue? He's never really done that in recent times, even in the 2010 UK summer gigs which didn't sell all that well.
