I've Been Lurking ...

I've Been Lurking on and off for a few years as a Premium Member. I'm a member of so many message boards I wasn't sure if I should come out of the closet on another one. You're all so friendly here I thought it would be worth it. I, of course love Macca and The Fab Four. I'm a record collector and own lots of rare Paul and Beatles stuff. I do it for fun and to find rare records. I've met some wonderful friends from the UK. I've been lucky enough to see Paul quite a few times. I live in Seattle and he played at BC Place in Vancouver, BC recently which is a 2.5 hour drive north across the Canadian Border. It was Paul's best show yet! Is it just me or like fine wine does he just get better with age? Highlight of the show: Mull of Kintyre with 50 piece Delta Police Pipe Band! It gave me chills!! Mull was a big hit in Vancouver but not so in the States. A Special Treat for Sure. Google it! I look forward to getting to know you when I can find time to hang out. Peace, Trent

Thanks Mr. Spock! I hope i can add some new ideas and have some fun as you transition to the new PaulMcCartney.com Question of the day: After Macca's recent appearances on the 12/12/12 Benefit and SNL with the surviving members of Nirvana. Did they all also spend time in the studio together? Can we expect a Macca/Nirvana Studio Release? That would be terrific. Thanks again Mr. Spock! Best Regards, Trent

Hi Trent, Yes, Paul did spend some time in the studio with Nirvana and they recorded a studio version of the song "Cut me some slack," which is the song they have played at the 12-12-12 concert and SNL. The song will be released on Dave Grohl's upcoming album "Sound City."

The song comes from not Nirvana sessions but sessions led by Dave Grohl for an upcoming documentary about the legendary Sound City Studios where Dave and Paul laid this track down:
