Hi everyone 1. does it really start on time or most likely a bit later (how much later?) 2. will PAULS concert start at that time or will there be a supporting act (if there is, how long will the supporting act play? 30 minutes?) 3. how long will the show be? I would guess about 2 3/4 hours?
I haven't seen Paul this year, but I read he started at 8.20 in London. He does not have a support act and yes, he plays about 2h 45 min.

MOJO concerts' website says: 18.30 doors open 20.15 start of the concert 23.00 end Probably Paul is a few minutes late and will play a few minutes longer. Also the railway station is very busy after concerts so leave immediately if you have a train to catch.

What is 'MOJO concerts'?

That's a Dutch company that organizes most of the concerts in our country, also this one.

The ticket from CrowdSurge arrived today! That was fast. They sent it two days ago in the evening, so I didn't expect it this week at all. But it is here. After all the struggle and impatience it seems unbelevable. Now, the irony is, that it is actually a Ticketmaster ticket! So the CrowdSurge is really a mere re-seller after all and exactly the same ticket could have been sent to me as an e-ticket and I could have printed it 3 months ago. Why didn't the pre-sale link lead directly to the ticketmaster.nl? The logic of it all is completely beyond my undestanding, but nothing of that matters now, I have the ticket in my hands, now I have to arrange the Van Gogh museum ticket, the Rijksmuseum tiket and... Amsterdam, here I come! I am so excited!

I checked the TM site now out of curiosity, and there are eleven seats available in the section 103 right now for the Sunday sold-out concert . Rather nice seats, I would say...just if somebody was interested...
-
Yes, got the tickets as well. HAPPY ! Indeed they are resellers, but they are directly connected to PM.com and the only party able to do a presale (for a limited number of tickets).

Hi everyone I was wondering about this one thing and I really hope someone here could help me out. On the ticket it says the concert begins at 20:00 o' clock. I have three questions especially to people who have already attended a recent PMC- concert: 1. does it really start on time or most likely a bit later (how much later?) 2. will PAULS concert start at that time or will there be a supporting act (if there is, how long will the supporting act play? 30 minutes?) 3. how long will the show be? I would guess about 2 3/4 hours? I'm asking this cause I need to take the train at the bijlmer arena-station at 23:19. If I can't make it, I'm forced to sit around for like two additional hours which is something I really don't want thanks in advance for your replies greetings from germany
Info from Ziggo Dome: 18.30u Doors open 20.15u starts Paul McCartney concert 23.00u expected end of the show There is no support act before the show. Please check out the NS information. I read somewhere that they will be working on some rail tracks. See the website of the NS: http://www.ns.nl/werktrajecten/#werkzaamheden-2015_shl_ass_asb_6_7jun There will be busses in stead of trains. There will be a delay.
-
^ Thanks alot (and also to anyone else who replied) So there's almost no way I will catch the 23:19 train... But hey, if I have to wait longer I will, there's no way I'm gonna miss that show
-
Indeed there may be no train service to and from Amsterdam Arena/Bijlmer railway station !! Plan your journey via the link below to see if train sevices are cancelled because of planned work on the tracks. http://www.ns.nl/en/travellers/home
-
Yeah, but it shouldn't be a problem if you travel early, there are still MANY buses heading to Amsterdam Centraal, even at night. http://www.gvb.nl tells you about the buses
-
8 days!!!
-
Yes eight days, that's a week!!
-
Eight and nine days
-
So, will there be a meet-up before or after any of the two shows?

If I read the notice correctly, metro will still run as normal. Can someone confirm please? I'm not quite sure about the translation to English

Oh, and if anyone here is going to soundcheck, what time do you have to arrive?

For all the board members who going to the show on the 7th of June: If you want to hear Paul play 'Big Barn Bed' at the concert bring with yourself: 1. A4 paper (someone told me in another thread that you won't be applied to enter bigger signs then that), print on it "Big Barn Bed", bold, Ariel font, that will be easy to read from the stage. 2. 2-3 extra pages to share with the people beside you (optional). EVERY SIGN WILL INCREASE THE CHANCE TO HEAR THIS SONG LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! EVERY ONE OF YOU IS IMPORTANT TO THE SUCCESS OF THE PLAN! Especially those who plan to be near the stage during the show! We need to hold the signs when Paul is playing the ukelele (during Something and according to the last shows Ram On too). So let's do this! Let's hear 'Big Barn Bed' live next week!
-
And for the soundcheck's people bring with us a sign "We don't we do it in the road"!!! The white album song that he never have play live. Is a simple song that no needs to rehearsals so if Paul see the sign there are great chance to hear this great song for the first time live!

this strategy is ok, but it would be much better if someone of the netherlands or better local amsterdam fans could prepare ~ 500 copies. (there should be an instruction included with small letters) While waiting for attmidance they could be distribute... On the other side we could also chosse a second song we could ask for on the 8th, if we had sucess on the 7th. IMO a further "new" song like Alligator (soundchecked in London!), On my way to work or Everybody out there" would be great. :
