Denny Wingman:
Got a GA one. Weirdly enough, it was actually cheaper than advertised ( about 111 ? incl. fees and delivery). Which makes suspicious even though it should make me happy (more money for merch at the venue!).
That is as advertised, not every price mentioned has the service fees included.
-
My CrowdSurge confirmation e-mail has arrived! Is the GA sector sold out already? By the way, there was no "print at home" option, just regular mail and registered mail. Same for Paris.

Ah, okay, I thought that 129 ? was to be the price for GA but it's possible I got confused. Apparently, that's the price for the best seats.

Booked! This gonna be a special one; first time with my two sons (10 and 13 years old), in my place of birth, and only on a 30 minutes drive away (much better than the 12 hour drive to Vienna). This is going to be great fun!
-
Only seats available were 101 (restricted view) 103, 111 and 202. And then never 2 seats in one block. And even general admission seemed a hard task. This was a very, very, very small portion of the tickets.

I wished I had those tickets in section 111!

Clicked around to check: either 1 random available, or already gone at 10. Friday will offer much better (and more!) choices.

I was in Vienna, too. I'll also have to do some travelling for this one. But that's fine, I always wanted to check out Amsterdam, anyway. Unlike most people my generation I've never been. Looks like going by train is the cheapest way (with an acceptable travel time) for a change.

Let's hope so!

Next thing is that we can buy the tickets that we missed by scalpers. They ask a huge amount of money. Oh I hate this pre sale.
-
I'll be there with my wife and my dad too, booked Hot Sound Experience. It's an expensiv week but it's going to be surely fantastic time again.

Has the public demand for EU/UK tickets been greater this time than in previous years? All concerts seem to be selling out faster than before.

I'd rather think that there a just a few tickets in the pre sale. This never happened to me before. I'm still very angry by the way these pre sale went.

I think it's nearly impossible to assess it because we don't know enough parameters at this time. It's right that there is a second london show and it seems that it's more difficult to get good tickets thru fan presale . But we don't know the number of tickets for the presales and we don't know the number of users trying to get a ticket... I mean we've to wait for official informations!

I think it's all comparable to the past. And what Mieke said. This pre-sale really didn't give fans much opportunities, like said. But in further answer to your question, Liverpool is a record breaking ticket every time, that's nothing new (http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/paul-mccartney-tickets-liverpool-echo-3362613)..) London is an easy sell-out by default with the pace of touring he has in England, he could probably do 5 gigs and still have no problems selling those out. Rest of the territories are a different story. I don't have much sight on the rest, but knowing that McCartney would always do one 15,000-20,000 Paris gig every tour in the past few years, and seeing as Marseille is a 70,000-capacity venue, standing, with Paris on top of that with similar figures, I don't think you have to expect a crazy run for tickets on those, for example. The fact the venue or bookers don't even have information up on this event, plus the buzz surrounding especially the Marseille gig over here as well (http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=90095)) must give a fairly representative view on that.

That was one of the more stressful booking experiences I've had, BUT at last, GA here I come!

Marseille is really an interessting aspect and the fact that there is still no comment in the thread is very strange. Maybe MPL/Marshall hopes that a lot's of fans from Italy, Spain, or Switzerland travells there... it's very risky. It wouldn't surprise if the concert is canceled. The capacity is similar to Warsaw (2013) but there travelled lot's of fans from complete europe. Nonetheless they reduced the capacity thru moving the stage...

Wonder how many general admission tickets were sold, I wasn't able to get one in time
