So you think I should create an account at Ticketmaster NL? Over here Paul's pre-sales are done by CrowdSurge, through his website. Amsterdam and Paris pre-sales will be at the same time, do you think tgere will be time to complete both transactions?
I don't want to push my luck, but I can't see any of those dates selling out any time soon. And yes, make an account over there, just to be sure, although we can't say with confidence at this moment whether the pre-sale will be through that. There's an English site as well (click in the right corner). Also, in the worst case scenario you get one ticket through the pre-sale, the other through the regular sale, but that's really a stretch.

It's going to be a great evening, and we can't wait to see our Dutch fans again. We always have fun together."

Seems like this is the concert I'll attend! Does anybody know when the pre-sale starts or will there be plenty of general admission tickets?
-
I'm assuming the general audience (standing) tickets will be the most wanted by fans and probably the first section to sell out. Am I right?

The pre-sale is on Tuesday 10th March. And yes, but don't gamble too long on it, this is a great deal.

It depends. The 'best' seats will be gone first of course, standing tickets somewhere in between the rest. I still can't believe seeing this topic popping up in 'ROCK SHOW'!

Any idea of the usual price of soundcheck packages in Europe? It's usually $1,300-$1,500 in South America.

That's nuts! In 2012 it was 750 euros for 'Front Row' and 550 euros for 'Hot Sound'. Still insane for a night out, the 100 euros it normally costs is bizarre enough. Join in the queue in early evening, sit down, get a drink, go to the toilet, get another drink, go to the toilet for one final time and make your way up to the front just fine.
-
Are these VIP packages going to be available through pre-sale on the official website or through any other sites?

Wow, that would be quite a change to the crazy hours in the queue that I'm used to. Sounds nice.

Meh, I think the early entry thing kind of sucks for anyone not shelling out the big bucks - although I have to admit I profited from it in Vienna where I went for the soundcheck package. But anyway, wohoo! I'll plan to be there. From experience, what's a good time to start queueing to get further in the front?
-
do you think it is worth getting the vip package that includes early access to the floor? How much earlier do they let VIPs in? Is it all VIPs at once, or the VIP with soundcheck first then VIP with just early access? I've only done one other GA and it was so much fun

Last time over here, because I had the day off, I decided to come over early and walk around the venue from the later afternoon on, then stuck to the queue with my friends, while still getting the pints and toilets visits in. At the venue I got another beer and went one last time to the toilet. And this was my view:
Nope, I'm not going to pay extra on top of the already outrageous priced ticket to be even more close and basically watch the sides of his monitor. -

How many tickets do you think will be offered for this concert... 15,000 to 20,000? I have read in this thread that this will be the smallest venue of the tour, so I bet the pre-sale tickets will sell out quite fast.

The O2 is bigger but the Echo Arena is way smaller. Dont know birmingham.

I mean the Ziggo Dome. It's smaller than the Echo Arena, right?

6300 standing tickets, 107,00 seating tickets for Ziggo Dome. So a bit bigger than the 10 odd times he played in Ahoy, Rotterdam over the years, including 2012, which has 6480 standing tickets, but 8471 seated tickets. (Echo Arena is 11,000 seats in total, not really comparable since it's standing vs. seating). That time in 2012 the best seats were snapped in within a minute during regular sale, as you can expect this time as well. Standing tickets took a few days. Then a week before the show tickets, standing and seats, got on sale again to frustrate secondary market (read: they couldn't sell those tickets over here in the outrageous champagne packages). Then, on the day itself it wasn't hard to get a standing ticket through secondary market. The gigs in 2003 and 2009 never sold out, seats and standing tickets available at door.

No, it´s bigger. Specially with GA.

So the early entrance ticket will cost ?270? Seems kind of pricey...

Especially since it will get you... one meter closer than the people who queued up early, who arguably have a better overview of the whole stage, which is far back anyway because of the silly extra stage gap.
