Cazzy The Alien Bluez Dude ***********************Cazzy is an alien guitarist... one of two surviving aliens from the now infamous UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Cazzy started his interest in music playing drums and doing percussion. After that he moved onto DJ'ing Vinyl. This was in the 1970's into the 80's before many of today's DJ'z were even born!. In Cazzy wordz..."I waz watching thiz documentary on DJ Frankie Bones DJing in NYC...and I realized....Yeah...I remember DJ'ing in the 70's in New York....and also seeing Madonna at The Fun House..asking the DJ'z to play her stuff...and also remember getting some of the first few rap records...."Sugar Hill Gang" "Kurtis Blow" in brown paper bag....lol...Anyway, I don't DJ anymore...I guess you could say I went from DJ'ing to being a dancer...(The best I got dancing was second place with a prize of $250 and a bottle of champagne. Some Arthur Murray Dance Studio peepz came up to me and asked if I wanted to teach in their studios...I told them..."No Thank you!") So, Then I went into being a rock and roll singer in a rock band....then I started playing guitar...and came around full circle...playing guitar with DJ'z.....and boy! Am I dizzy!") After having been a DJ for almost 15 years, Cazzy started singing. He went on to sing in two different rock bandz, "Noyz-R-Us" a Jimi Hendrix cover band, and then "Messiah" and alternative Rock band. Cazzy then moved onto playing guitar. Cazzy toured playing guitar with the late deaf drummer, Shawn Dale Barnett, who played and lived briefly with Alice in Chains' lead singer, Layne Staley. Cazzy is known for selling Jimi Hendrix's guitar strap from the 1969 Woodstock Festival at Sotheby's Rock and Roll memorabilia auction house in New York city. Cazzy had one of his songs included in the Horror film, "The Night Owl", which is part of an indie Horror DVD 4-pack called, "Wicked Intentions" available at Sam Goody,Renco,Best Buy, and Amazon.com. Cazzy went to Orlando, Florida briefly to play music and network. Accidentally, (or maybe not) Cazzy ended up opening one night for Billy Joel's long time drummer, Liberty Devitto and his band "The Funk Club". ("One of the koolezzt, mozt un-ego-tiztical "ztarz" I've ever met! Hellaziouz drummer too!") Although he loved the many talented musicians he met in Orlando,Florida, one day he actually came home to find his girlfriend of 10 years dead on the toilet bowl from a heroin overdose...her eyes still wide open.(She started with pain pills...she was in much pain) The reason why Cazzy calls his guitar..."The Haunted Alien Bluez Axe"??..."because my ex-girlfriend painted the alien murals on it with nail polish...a week before I found her dead"... (Hence, the reason why some people say Cazzy is insane.) He is not insane. Just wary of some humans now. Some people have emailed Cazzy asking whether or not that is his late girlfriends' voice one hears on the track, "Zoomin' with a Dead Girl"...the answer is yes. Now when Cazzy first wrote the song, "Go Away", he played it for his late girlfriend on acoustic, since he had written it for her...these were the words she would tell him everyday...she was in constant pain. (She was run over by a guy in a pick-up truck as she was crossing the street going to a Christmas Play). Upon hearing the song on acoustic guitar, she broke down in tears. She never lived to hear the finished studio version. (I thought I would add a bit more detail about how that tragic morning was even though it wasn't in my usual BIO. I was working at Mears Taxi driving all night long, the 6pm to 6 am shift. I don't really know why I did that because you really just ended up paying them more money than you made. Mears made money hand over fist and really never tried to give their driver raises. One night, I even drove all night and made $5...throwing the bill on the guys desk in disgust. However back to finding my ex-girlfriend dead. I had been driving all night and was ready to go home and pass out. I went to my car, and it wouldn't start! I tried for about an hour to get a jump from someone and finally I managed to get someone to help. I started the car and drove home. Upon arriving at the house, My ex-girlfriends mother told me, "Hey you'd better check on her. She's in the bathroom and I've been trying to call her and she won't answer!". Talk about ominous sounding!. I went to the bathroom door and called her name. No answer. I knocked again and called once more. Nothing. So I broke the door in. What I found I will never forget as long as I live. There she was, on the toilet, pants still on and slumped over with her face buried in a small stool she had in front of her. Both of her arms were hanging down on either side. I screamed her name aloud and rushed to her. I grabbed her head by her hair and pulled it up. I still don't know why I did that. Probably shock. When I lifted her face up, I saw that her face was purple and her nose was twisted to one side, frozen with rigormortis like that. Her eyes were open. Tose beautiful once baby blue eyes were now grey and lifeless. Her glass were still on her face, but twisted half sideway's. She had peed herself, I didn't know if it was from when she had gotten stoned or after she had died. I grabbed her and threw her on the floor, trying to pump her chest and also give her mouth to mouth. I hardly had any room between the toilet and bathtub, so I dragged her body out of the bathroom and into the kitchen. I kept trying to pump her chest and give her mouth to mouth. Her lungs were making a gurgling sound. Her mother was sitting right there asking me something and I can't rememeber what. Maybe "Is she dead?" Deep in my soul I knew the answer was yes. By this time 911 was called. I can't remember if I did that or her mother. When they arrived, they pretty much tried things here and there but they didn't try the shock paddles because I think they know she had been dead about an hour. The same hour that I was standing by my car with the dead battery, trying to get home. People have told me later it wasn'y my fault and that it was meant to happen that way, but you just can't help but wonder, "What If?" So anyway, once the EMS had her in the gurney and was moving her outside to the ambulance, I was in total disbelief and shock and tears. I still remember them carrying her lifeless body out and also them leaving her shirt open and her breasts exposed. Talk about callous and uncaring! I tried to reach over and cover her up somewhat but they whisked her away in seconds. They drove away without sirens. I knew it was the end. The police came over and they found the bit of heroin she had shot up and the spoon and "the needle and the damage done." They really didn't ask me too much but I probably couldn't have answered too much anyway. I had been with her for almost ten years and now she was gone. She didn't really use heroin, mostly pain pills, but that morning, being with no pain pills, as her mother told me, two girls had come to visit her and then left. i think that's when they brought her the stuff. I cried all night and into the next day. Sitting in our bedroom, looking at her clothes and things. I went to her mother, who was always mean as hell to her, and said, "Man, I'm really torn up and miss her". Her reply? " I don't care...you're not family anyway and I want you out of here." The original "Ice Lady." **************** After that traumatic morning in Orlando, Cazzy headed back to New York to try and clear his head. While in New York, Cazzy did have another "memorable" jam session at Budd Lake, N.J. one evening...where also...(Unplanned) he ended up jammin guitar with none other than Kenn Moutenot, drummer extraordinaire with Buddy Miles and currently touring with Deodato, and playing bass? None other than Charlie Torres, Rick Derringer's long-time touring bassist. It was only a two song set...(doing Jimi's "Red House" and "Wild Thing"), however...quite a kool moment! Cazzy haz gone through many things trying to pursue his muzic and love for muzic.Trying to perform as "The Alien" he has been jumped after a gig, he's been put on the roster absolutely last when everyone had left, he had a can a beer thrown athis head, (Which after it stopped fizzing, he drank). He also had his guitar chord cutone time five minutes before a show. Thankfully, he was lent another guitar chord by one of the members of the Rock Group, "Sea Monster" of New York. Cazzy also had the dubious honor of being a "wheel man", bodyguard, and close friend of the REAL Sonny from the movie "A Bronx Tale". He used to keep quiet about that...but being that Sonny has since passed away...he doesn't care anymore who knows. (Ed Note: You can see a video of Cazzy'z last visit in the hospital to see Sonny on his You Tube page. Http://www.youtube.com/cazzyalien )Eventually, Cazzy started playing guitar with DJ'z. (Everything comez full circle doesn't it?) He played guitar with DJ's doing Psy-Trance,Chill, Drum 'n Bass, Happy Hardcore, Dubstep, House, Fidget, you name it. Cazzy haz performed with many DJ's such assYncus Founder, Composer, Producer Christopher Peter Vanderessen-New York,Deyo-Rapper/Producer-New York, DJ Cub-Orlando, DJ Cyber-Texas, DJ Aeon Miller-Orlando, Rapper/McFreak Rodriguez-Orlando, DJ Nye (Matt Black)-Atlanta, DJ Reddman-Atlanta, DJ Logic... DJ Logic played in the group "Yohimbe Brothers" with Vernon Reid of Living Colour.(Cult of Personality?) Actually, it was during one of DJ Logic's gig's at an "after-hours" club on Hunter Mountain,N.Y., after Mountain Jam, that Mike Gordon of "Phish" came up and told Cazzy he was "wailin". Cazzy has recently moved...From New York to Dallas, Texas to Orlando, Florida,(To clear out the skeletons in the closet) then....Cazzy moved to the mountains of North Georgia, then to Tennesee and then to Oklahoma. Who knowz where Cazzy iz now? Only his guitar. Recently..Cazzy juzt returned to Facebook again after a long hiatus. Now once again, he iz back on Earth.*************************Cazzy is available to jam guitar at partiez/clubz,and with DJ's. Juzt hit him up here or on hiz Facebook page at cazzyalienguitar" or send an email to: cztunes5000@yahoo.com************************
