~lady*madonna~:
Just got back home from Sacramento. Last night's concert was AWESOME! One of the best Paul concerts I have attended. He seemed so relaxed and genuinely happy to be there. In my opinion, his voice was better last night than in Fresno at the opening of the tour. He looked great, too. .
I was at the opening in Fresno and thought exactly the same thing!

I finally got something good to show of Paul coming onstage but can't get it up on here So if you're like me & really love that part its worth going to Twitter for it. Just did it in the last half hour My name is @nessienancy there.

Sounds like a great concert series! Glad everyone had fun!

Still happy 2 days later. I love the "Paul afterglow"!

Had a weird, disconnected feeling the whole night for some reason. Paid 2086$ for the front row and was seated slightly off to the left, Paul didn't look to our side once. He did, during USSR nod to a couple next to me who were very nice, which was cool. It seemed like he mostly sang to a group of teenage girls in the front middle rows. I hoped for just slightly more for so much money, I had a huge sign and was so excited after waiting forever for this. Much different than my experience in Fresno. Also seemed like the Golden 1 wasn't prepared for how many of us there were for the VIP, because I couldn't find a place to sit when they served the food. Security wouldn't let us leave the room and walk around, and I felt pretty cooped up and bored in between the soundcheck and the concert. It's hard having to go to these things alone, but for 2,000+$, It's all I or anyone around me can afford.

Not sure which soundcheck you went to but on Tuesday I had a complete different experience. I also went alone, but started chatting with people while we were in line. Sat with a group for cocktails until it was time to go into the arena. After SC there was a line for the food and I did notice many of the seats were occupied. So I had a glass of wine and started chatting with some new people. Then went through the buffet and by that time there were tables open to sit and eat. We were allowed to go back and forth between the VIP area and the main floor. Could even take our drinks! Sorry your experience was not so good but mine was great!

I've been there. Sounds like the same exact seat. This wouldn't happen to people if they would go back to showing the exact location of the seat you are spending so much money for On the Seating Chart. This is the only time I my life that I've had to do that, pay for something without knowing what it is. I think it's a mistake to do this because people feel ripped off when find themselves unexpectedly in the end zones. Don't think Paul's into fighting Ticketmaster on this. So we just make do. Its not just you, keep trying but next time facing the stage, don't take a low number in the right section and don't take a high number in the left section & don't take any wooden nickels.

Had a wonderful time on Tuesday. We got there super early (since you never know about traffic around here) and walked around the plaza before they closed it off. They had stars all over the cement with the names of Paul's songs so we walked around to look at all of those. Did limo watch for the first time and it was a lot of fun. Paul came driving up and had his window rolled all the way down and started smiling and waving. Was amazing to be that close as he drove by. Glad I finally got to do that. As I said the other night, a lot of people in our section were sitting down for most of the concert, but that was fine with us since we could actually see very well because of that. Everybody around us looked like they were having a great time and were singing along. My friend and I laughed at Paul's "Black Hole" comment, though they weren't "black holes" to us. Loved hearing a bunch of songs I had never heard live before but still enjoyed hearing the ones I had before. The venue folks were walking around telling people to stop taking videos. They were fine with pictures but not with videos. I'm sure this is a venue rule and not a new Paul rule since he knows people do it and even jokes about it during the concert. Looking forward to the next concert already!

Happened to me when I did the front row experience. Never again. I was so far off to the side that I only saw the camera arm with my eyes. Watched concert on the screen of camera. Left feeling totally cheated. Seat should never have been sold. Learned my lesson on the front row seats. Two years later did the $1500 ticket and had a great experience. However, I would not have done it again but for the bad experience. I am sorry this happened to you. Sorry they wouldn't let you leave the room. I also go to these alone but always have made friends in the line and at the reception/meal.

I'm really glad I'm not alone in this. I spent 1500 for third row last time and had an amazing time! I'll never pop the extra 600 ever again! And maybe I'll bring my mom next time.

Reminds me of the group of men that were next to me in Detroit in the third row. Did nothing but drink and drink and were so drunk by the time "Hey Jude" came around they were talking loudly and spilling their beer all over the floor. Probably didn't remember much of the concert the next day. Don't get why people spend so much money to see a concert only to get so stinking drunk they can't remember anything.

Another picture I took on Tuesday. Will have more to post here tomorrow, been going through them today.
