So tonight will most likely be the last show of Paul's "Out There" Tour! Do you think he'll mention it?

He should if it is.
-
He will mention George was a "really good ukulele player."
-
I guess I deserved that...

Everyone involved mentions "the last gig of the year", "last gig of the tour for this year", and so on. Nobody mentions any final dates for the tour, which they always did in the past. Would be silly to put a tour to bed which Europe hasn't even seen yet anyway.

If we want to be technical, there were three dates played in Europe during the "Out There" tour back in June, 2013.

Yes, only 3 European dates and countless US and SA dates.

Yeah. And I will never forget why it was impossible to attend those, all crammed up in one week. 3 out of 64 gigs took place in Europe, 0 out of 64 gigs in his home country. The tour that Europe never got to see properly, 2005 all over again.

The setlist for tonight: http://instagram.com/p/v4c5v6HXr-/ Back to back gigs, and not even a change in the acoustic set any more. I would be very displeased by the swaps too, of all songs you can swap, the 2 rarities for this tour, 'Hi Hi Hi' and 'Eight Days A Week' for the overly stale 'Get Back' and 'Magical Mystery Tour'?!

I always felt that Europe got one of the best McCartney setlists in 2004...which no one else shared.

You don't count 2011 as part of the tour? It was the only (and last) tour since 2004 Europe got to see properly: 16 gigs in the US, 6 in South America, and spread across two legs with two different setlists 14 shows in Europe. Fair enough. Up And Coming Tour: 24 in the US, 9 in South America and 5 gigs in the UK and Ireland plus another 3 separated exclusive gigs it was impossible to get tickets for in England, nothing on the European mainland.

2004/2005 was shared pain. I always felt that Europe got one of the best McCartney setlists in 2004...which no one else shared.
That was shared pain, haha. The US never got see 'You Won't See Me', 'All Things Must Pass' and 'She's A Woman'. Though Europe never got to see 2005 goodies 'I'll Get You', 'Till There Was You', 'Fine Line', the acoustic 'I Will', the solo 'Fixing A Hole', 'English Tea', 'Follow Me', 'Too Many People', 'She Came In Through The Bathroom Window', 'Good Day Sunshine' and 'Please Please Me' (woah what a great selection of songs when you sum it up!). I still don't understand why McCartney never could throw in ONE 'She's A Woman' or 'Please Please Me' on back to back nights like tonight, but ah well.

I agree...'04 and '05 tours had some real nice selections. However, "Good Day Sunshine" wasn't exclusive to the '05 shows, it was also part of the '89-'90 tour which most countries experienced.

Yes, I was eager to add "for that period" or something like that, but then I also had to exclude 'She's A Woman', haha. I don't think it would bother me that much to see a song back after 15+ years anyway, hehe. But really great choices those tours.

Paul, I saw you again! I wait for you and you come again and sang, sang, and enchanted. I would like to see you ever and ever, I would like to see you near me and I would like to give you a kiss and a hug and say thank you for exist. I saw your show yesterday and today I can't stop to think on you, I'm dreamy. I'm amazed!
-
Amazing concert. Three girls were called onstage, by the way. One more thing: Paul's crew stood in front of those in the front row during Let It Be and held signs (one letter per person) that read "love is all that matters in the end". I guess it's a tribute to him, to celebrate the end of the tour.

Carlos...do you have any photos of the last two shows that you can share? Also, did Paul mention that this (11/26) was the last show of the tour? Thank you!
